UK keen to offer Eurofighter to India

. .
price is never issues for india
Then why Indian GOVT is crying about price hike in Rafael deal? :azn:
Its time frame Iaf was keen too buy F-35 from usa But its not available in the time frame that IAf needed to solve their depleted squadrons
Time Frame  more then a decade in MMRCA deal which is still pending tell a lot about time frame.

I would have believed you if you weren't a GERMAN citizen :P :D

True there is a little bias behind it and although the EF today is far away from beeing even an average multi role fighter, the delays and the decision after the elections is working in favour for them. The EF partners have more time to build up ties to BJP and influence them and propose lower unit costs, the EF consortium can work on technical shortcomings of the fighter and if they are smart, tie up with DRDO on AESA radar and engine developments as well as for the EF and LCA upgrades combined.
The French have the better fighter, at lower costs, but missed out the chance to really partner with India in core fields. If the EF partners and industry take the chance now and offer such big industrial benefits, they will have a chance, even if the costs in general are higher, because that's what M-MRCA is about!

We didn't reject EF on basis of performance but on price.
If UK negotiate this deal it could be signed but German officials makes EF behind Rafale on negotiation table of Price & amount of ToT.

.
India should engage EF, just to put pressure on Rafale.

France is the only major European country which stood behind India after we did nuclear tests.UK is US' puppy , they can't be trusted.

EF can't offer the sharing of techs like Rafale and it's better to deal with one than conglomate of 4 countries.

Sure, aircraft which are not even comparable to what we have...or what we had since last 10-15 years.

Lie.

It's not even 1 decade late.
Yeah choose your version of every thing. Keep living in denial :enjoy:

Which however has a relation, since not the unit cost was the issue but the overall cost including for upgrades that are required by IAF, but not available or funded for the fighters so far (it is cheaper to fund IRST and HMS for Rafale, than funding AESA, CFTs and weapons on the EF).

EF can't offer the sharing of techs like Rafale and it's better to deal with one than conglomate of 4 countries.

They can offer techs, although it's more complicated with 4 countries and their laws, but don't forget that especially the UK is desperate, so at this point this is indeed a chance for us to get more out of them.

You mean 4++ G fighter can be compared with 3G fighters ?? I think you are denying obvious facts.

If it's really like that then UK should open it's cards on TOT in field of AESA and engines(from metallurgical level) soon before they misses the deal.

UK is the country which can send AC to attack India on the insistence of US, they can't be trusted when we will need spares at critical juncture. They will arm twist us .

thing is makers of EF are trying to woo IAF as its clear indians are now trying to shrink the MMRCA order and are showing more interests in home grown LCA and FGFA

since dassult is trying to be over smart they are now finding that the americans are pushing with there advanced F18s and EDAS is pushing with EF and russians are using there good rapport to get the M35 into IAF .... and all of them are ready to give TOT

its going to be very interesting in the next fiscal when the new govt decides which way to go but my guess is americans play rite and offer TOT they just might get the big order as there fighter is carrier ready and has a comminallity with GE 414 which IAF had alreaady bought

Problem is UK is more desperate but Germany leads in negotiation which was not good for EF.

Germany "lead" the proposal in the MMRCA, but UK is now pushing far more with the Germans on the backseat only. Clearly the better choice wrt India and what they should had done from the start, but this deal will not be decided on political terms, only clear industrial benefits can bring back the EF.
