Pretty much sums up US military prowess or lack thereof...

This clip is not aimed to show battlefield victories of US-led forces but to show the nature of conflict in Afghanistan and that the troops are not exactly cowards as stated in some posts.

Victory is defined by fulfillment of desired political objectives in a theater of operations.

US-led forces failed to prevent downfall of South Vietnam = Defeat

US-led forces liberated Kuwait in the Persian Gulf War = Victory

US-led forces defeated Yugoslavia in the Kosovo conflict = Victory

US-led forces toppled Saddam regime in Iraq and overcame Iraqi insurgency = Victory

US-led forces defeated ISIL across Iraq and Syria = Victory

US-led forces were at stalemate with Afghan Taliban = Deal

Every war was of different character than the next. Every war also creates a mess in its wake. There is no such thing as video game victory in real life.

Post WW2, Europe and Asia were bombed to the stone ages, while America was an industrial machine untouched by the war.

All America had to do was provide loans for reconstruction and export them the tools and machinery needed to reconstruct.

Russian's destroyed Hitler's 98 divisions, the cream of the crop and best fighting force ever to have been assembled up to that time...

By the time Americans ran into Germans, the latter consisted mostly of old men and young boys who were out numbered and out gunned with limited supplies and no air cover...

What did the British achieve on their own in World War 2? The Wehrmacht routed them from Poland and France.

The British managed to win in the Battle of Britain which is impressive (but a war in defensive context and being an Island helped).

Americans came in 1942 and helped organize Allied forces as well as shape military operations against the Wehrmacht. This was the time when Allied forces began to win.
