Beatiful Xinjiang,yeah right.
Please do not use individual events to deny that Xinjiang is more advanced than Turkey.

This is Xinjiang.

If Uyghurs were in other countries, US won't care, the reason that US and west care so much about Uyghurs is just because that they are in China, and we all know why.

. .
You alreay had 10 negative ratings, why you even worry about 11th ?:D
Oh no. friend. I'm not worried. My interest is in manufacturing and industrial structure. I rarely talk about politics. I was just wondering.

so says a descendant of Adolf the one-nut Emperor of concentration camps

I wonder if present day Turks and Germans etc send their criminal and other undesirable element on vacation to Bahamas instead of locking them up and rehabilitating them?

You think the mio Uighurs in prison are all criminals?

And please, stay on topic, Adolf or Mao (who is less guilty than Adolf, has nothing to do with Uighur issue.

You can be right, but does not give you any rights to re-educate, assimilate and prison mio of people. China must be held accountable.

I heard that Winnie the Pooh is banned by China. Is that true? :-)

.
Camps for an ethnic group only, Nazi Germany camps for Jews and US camps for ethnic Japanese, It surprised me that those two shameless countires still have the guts even to say the word camp.

From a historical standpoint, collective punishment and extremely heavy-handed scrutiny and incarceration of a region or religious group has never worked to the favor of regional stability or ideological eradication. What you end up seeing is the terrorist movement using these policies to justify their attacks and ramp up their recruitment among the population.

The West has never used direct restrictions on the practice of Islam in response to the ISIS threat; it doesn't work and Western leaders know that. The same situation can be said of western China.

This is not to say that increased security, direct retaliation against extremist groups, and meticulous screening of the population/region aren't justified or "wrong", but collectively punishing significant portions of the population for the deeds of a few bad apples is ineffective and obviously morally corrupt.

But again, almost all countries (China and Turkey included) have turned a blind eye to certain forms of terrorism at one point in history or another.

China doesn't not restrict Islam but extremism, China has other Mulim groups which have a bigger population than Uyghurs but they never had problems with the government.

The direct result of the Chinese policy now is Xinjiang becomes one of the most peaceful and safest places in whole China from being on the brink of a total chaos which terrorist attacks occurred on weekly basis barely a decade ago. Economy is booming and people's living standard skyrocketting, GDP growth highest in China. People around the world flock to Xinjiang for her peaceful environment and natural beauty, toursim now accounts for one third of Xinjiang's total GDP.

Local Xinjiang people now enjoy 15 years free education, school meals, daily dairy and accomodation from kingdergarten to high school, free healthcare, poor families are provided with earthquake resistant government housing.

Glisttering highways, highspeed railways, city subways now are second to none on this planet due to the recent neckbreaking development owing to Xinjiang's peaceful and safe environment.

Please tell me that's a failure. This failure is being dreamed of by most places in the world.

How come only this few?

ask the moslems... building churches or mosque or synagogue or budhhist temple is in Germany not duty of the state... it is duty of the religious organization. If they wanna build a house to whoreship who ever the only thing that matters in Germany are house and building construction regulations. This include optic size noise parking space etc etc... no matter what religion organization wanna build all have to face the same regulation.

China should adopt a stricter code on buildings.

.
you also should notice that the first mosque in China was build in the 8th century... the first mosque in Germany was build late 18th century

look you have far more christians in China than moslems...and the christians have hardly more churches... simple reason mosque are there for a much longer time, christian religion is realtivly new in china with no long tradition
