I have went to Ajanta caves few months back.

Its amazing how thousand years before human beings cut the hard stone rocks with primitive tools.

And the structures are huge, 30-40 ft tall or even more.

Been there just last month. The tourist crowds are just getting bigger and bigger. Anyone interested in going there, the best time would be rainy or winter season. Its just too hot during summer.

You can take a direct flight to Aurangabad [Maharashtra]. All 5 star hotels have their own tour service there.
