It is funny that a "Divine Revelation" is required to identify which state in this mortal world is legitimate or illegitimate. Can "god" stoop so low? I dont think so.
God is much bigger than providing directions to one set of humans that another set is illegitimate. If anything was fundamentally illegitimate, god would not need humans to finish it. The omnipotence is enough.
