UAE planned to invade Qatar with Blackwater-linked mercenaries: Report

.
Qatar and Iraq represant real muslim arabs we dont take serious pagans and their ideas

Of course. All the other 460 million Arabs are Pagans according to some illiterate Turkified and Arabized Anatolian villager that has nothing else to do but meddle in internal Arab affairs and troll while posting nonsense.

Time to built some Pagan temples!

@The Eagle

Can you kindly deal with trolls in this thread that serve no purpose other than posting nonsense/troll posts and provoking users? It's getting tiring that foreigners are polluting informative threads when users have interesting discussions. Their purpose is not to engage in any discussion but to troll and post nonsense. This is not the first time that those two trolls are trolling Arab topics. Even one of them trolled the almost completely troll-free Arab section earlier today before you took action.

English:

Qatar's former deputy prime minister accused the United Arab Emirates of plotting to invade Doha with an army of mercenaries, according to a report.

Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah levelled the charges on Wednesday in a report published by Spanish daily ABC.

The UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt imposed a blockade and economic sanctions on Qatar in June, accusing it of supporting "extremism" and being too close to Iran, charges Doha has denied.

Attiyah said that the UAE hired a "Blackwater-linked" private security contractor to train thousands of mercenaries to invade Qatar with the aim of overthrowing the emir and replacing him with a ruler subservient to the Saudi-led bloc that is boycotting the gas-rich state, the New Arab website reported.

Attiyah said the plan, which was prepared ahead of the diplomatic spat, was never carried out because US President Donald Trump failed to green-light the assault, the NewArab said.

An unidentified official source told the daily that the soldiers for hire were trained at an Emirati military base in Liwa in the west of the country by Academi, a US security service company formerly known as Blackwater.

Blackwater military contractors killed 17 unarmed Iraqi civilians and wounded 20 in a notorious 2007 massacre in Baghdad that prompted the firm to change its name.

"We estimate that Blackwater trained about 15,000 employees, most of them Colombian and South American," the source told the New Arab.

The New York Times reported as far back as 2011 that Colombians were entering the UAE posing as construction workers to become part of a secret mercenary army being built by Blackwater founder Erik Prince with more than $500m in financing from the oil-rich sheikdom.

The Colombians, along with South African and other foreign troops, were being trained by retired American soldiers and veterans of German and British special operations units and the French Foreign Legion, former employees and American officials told the New York Times.

According to a recent email purportedly sent by the Emirati ambassador to the US, Yousef al-Otaiba, Saudi Arabia came close to "conquering" Qatar before the start of the blockade.

People close to Trump told Bloomberg in September that the Saudi-led bloc considered taking military action against Qatar at the start of the crisis, before the US president urged for calm.

PS: Coincidence or pure luck... But those Qatari F-15 sale HAPPENED just at the moment where US said stop to Saudi and UAE... :)

PS2: UAE relation with Blackwater is quite interesting and it's not the first time, afterall they are extensively used in Libya/Mali/Yemen by UAE and his Boss has a free spot in Abu dhabi... with full diplomatic protection... Someone is learning fast from his teacher...Hope they learn ( and get rdy) for the consequences too... since you can't play with fire if you don't know how to stop it...
Black water own by US based company, it mean someone from inside broke the cover.

Expecting 15K mercenaries, to take Qatar, is the most ludicrous statement in human history.

Secondly, KSA and UAE are being "accused," whereas evidence "exists" of Qatar's support, and export of terrorism.

Dear Qataris, if you are going to come up with stories, please insure they are not half baked, and do it while you are not intoxicated.

The best part is, haters like the ones on this thread, can't change ground realities.

Would be better to report without engaging back otherwise action will be taken against both, the instigator as well as the one who feed. Take this an open warning and no further reminders at all.

Every nation has its part in history either the right one, being nothing or sometimes for taking wrong decisions though, same does not validates the other one being saint or righteous. Take subject in hand to come with debatable, qualitative and productive discussion rather venting frustration based upon illogical and "I am right" opinion.

Tiny Qatar should be a part of KSA like that territory of the Arabian Peninsula (a small peninsula that is part of the world's largest peninsula - Arabian Peninsula) has been for millennia since the emergence of ancient civilians such as Dilmun etc. 6000 years ago in Eastern Arabia.

Just throughout the past 1400 years (Islamic era) the territory that makes up Qatar today has been a part of caliphates, empires, kingdoms, sultanates, emirates and sheikdoms founded and ruled by people from modern-day KSA or based in modern-day KSA. Even the House of Saud ruled what is today Qatar not long ago. Before the Al-Thani's emerged as rulers of Qatar.

Let's forget history for a second. 95% of all the 320.000 or so native Qataris are also originally from KSA. Including the ruling Al-Thani family.

Anyway once the gas runs out (if not before) history will repeat itself and the Qataris will join their motherland once again. The GCC/Arabia will unite just like much of the Arab world and not the other way around. This is the only way forward. This would also put an end to fake nation state nationalism and restore historical legitimacy, focus on ethnicity (Arab and Semitic) and ancestry, ancient and more recent history, common culture, same language and religion etc.

-------------------------------------

As for the topic. I can't believe that people are this naive and ignorant to believe whatever Qatari sources are saying. They have been posting one lie after the next ever since this "crisis" began. The most hilarious lie was KSA boycotting Qatari pilgrims but when the same Qatari pilgrims returned from KSA praising KSA, this lie was quickly forgotten. Countless of others.

Let's all use our brains for once. Who in the region let alone outside of it (US, Russia and China) would be interested in a already insanely rich country (fossil fuels and minerals) like KSA to be even richer after conquering Qatar? Such a move alone would turn KSA into a country with the second biggest proven natural gas reserves in the world.

In fact I doubt that other GCC states would be interested in such a thing as they might very well be next. I am talking about rulers here because according to all polls conducted on this topic, the GCC populations (citizens) have long wished to see a federal state emerge - thus there is a big support for unity and the establishment of a federal state which the GCC more or less is already on many fronts.
And some people accuse Iran of having imperialistic agenda.

Using Qatari sources. I wonder how much the Qatari regime paid ABC? They have been caught paying journalists to post their propaganda in French media after their "takeover" of Paris a few years ago.

KSA (Saudi Arabia) is the successor state of all those ancient civilizations, empires, empires, kingdoms, sultanates, emirates and sheikdoms because 1) they were all founded by our ancestors, 2) they were founded by people native to what is modern-day KSA and ruled by them, 3) they emerged in our ancient lands.

A more simple conclusion that anyone can see by just looking a map, KSA makes up 75% of Arabia. That is legitimacy alone.

That does not change the fact that 95% of all Qataris are from Saudi Arabia originally, including the ruling Al-Thani family. Or that there was no state called Qatar just 200 years ago. It is a fake nation state construct. KSA on the other hand was a unification of several ancient Arabian historical regions (Hijaz, Najd, Eastern Arabia, Northern Arabia etc.).

Qatar on the other hand? Well it is a small peninsula that is part of the historical region called Eastern Arabia. With a tiny population mainly from Najd.

That will happen. The formation of the GCC almost 40 years ago was already a huge step and that was taken only as a decision by ruling autocratic dynasties who otherwise almost always compete against each other whether in Arabia or elsewhere throughout all of history. Now if the people had a say (which they will soon), a federal state would be created as proven by existing polls on this topic.

BTW you did not answer who has any interest in seeing KSA becoming an even bigger and richer country? Maybe that is the most important question to answer. Do you remember what happened with Saddam when he invaded Kuwait? Supposedly after receiving a green light from the same West that later attacked him. I also forgot to mention that Qatar is under the protection of the US ever since they welcomed the Americans to Al-Udeid in the 1990's. This was a deliberate step in order to protect the Al-Thani regime from internal and external threats.
all those ancient civilisation seat was in Damascus and Baghdad not Riyadh.

When NY times posts anti-Pakistan crap, you get all worked up, but if it is GCC, you become their cheerleader.

Nonetheless, keep living n 2011, this is exactly why I don't disclose anymore what really is happening on the ground.

Then don't be suprised that it's one sided..; since you don't want to share your view with what is happening. And if you think it's still useless and that will change nothing... then nothing could be done but just accept and swallow whatever you read/see...
And last you should stop your critics on the subject...
