UAE, Pak discuss military issues

Protecting the Monarchy against the revolution in return for some dhiram & flats in Dubai.

Your intelligent agency got wrong info.
Because What PPP didn't do they are doing it ever since the brith of UAE Roti, Kapra aur Makaan:enjoy: and their locals are giving dua to their leader because they have more than enough :-)

I hope he meets the king too..like he met king of KSA on his visit...

He meet the Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin zayed who is heading the UAE from the front beside Meeting sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid the PM of UAE. As these 2 are the main decision makers for UAE

What do u think abt the nature of this visit? I think its more an informal /unofficial visit..maybe a visit to cool down tensions informally...because he is not in uniform in any of the pics..also nothing from ISPR on this visit..most probably means he is not there on an official agenda..rather on an informal visit... @Khafee your take on this visit..Sir?

IMO The relation between pak army and the UAE are good its the government that lacks behind for example when the UAE were giving funds to build road hospital etc they did the funds to the army rather the government and the reason was simple no trust in the government due to corruption. And COAS might have played the role of moderator to balance the relation

I'm not a PPPee jiyala, bro.

And Mirage 2000 will not be that bad option if they come for almost no price
LOL. Nothing is free in this world.
You give money they would buy news ones
Very rich coming from a guy who wastes majority of PDF Bandwidth by making wish lists for Pak Military, from SU35s to S400 to Russian Tanks & whatnot.

No i don't think the chief just decided to go on a two day break, few days before his departure the UAE ambassador to Pakistan did call on him....too much of a coincidence.

There were many misunderstandings and doubts that needed to be cleared and also, grievances to be redressed that said, it was not merely a visit but many things have been discussed. Hopefully, the same will be turned out to be more beneficial than before, for both countries.

You summed up correctly, but you missed "fightings" between Arab monarchies ans Iranian Shia mullah monarchy.

An off topic question ...who has more say in UAE politics ...President (Nahyans) or Prime minister (Makhtooms) .

You are right too..but I was thinking tht it might be an informal visit, primarily because of two reasons.. Firstly he is not in uniform....even if we ignore this...note tht nothing has come from ISPR on this visit, which is very strange...only through gulf media, we have come to know abt this visit..
Anyways..lets hope for the best outcome, after this visit...

if this visit is unofficial then why COAS meetings with Picture were released in the Media?? Feeling Something Fishy Fishy.

Sir @Khafee is now a silent reader, somebody steal his keyboard.

.
to me it seems a very private visit,a.a.z played a role in it , that's why he is in Pakistan and pretending to show that he have nothing to do with this ,but the leverage that a.a.z is enjoying in Pakistan tells this and also the rushing of pro establishment politicians like Nabeel gabol,Irfan marvat to pppp further endorses this, aaah an other NRO, hamri kismat he kharab hy,

Its such a sorry state of affairs that COAS had to take lead on critical Foreign Affairs issues like these while civilian govt is sleeping. Then the same people also accuse PA of running Foreign Affairs issues while they themselves aint doing anything worth a penny in this regard.
No iron to milk off of foreign affair.
They go only where there are profits for sharif dynasty.

waste of tax payer money a ... You better stay in Pakistan and take care of your own people , rather than bending your Arse in front of some Spoiled Kings and Prince ..
No, Sir, he did the right thing. Military man has to play FM also. It is the nature of muti-faceted challenges every nation face and articulate a response with the help of think tanks and execute through FO and Defence Dept. None exist in Pakistan at the level to take on the challenge, weakest is FO run by octogenarian Sartaj Aziz. MoD is run by loyalist k asif useless like a flat tire.

I can think of revolution in Saudi Arabia but no chance in UAE. There is something else going on here either it's related to MIRAGE 2000 or something else

Could it be about the POF marketing office that Gen. Omar Hayat is trying to establish? Or it could be about the tacit Yemen coopeartion Pakistan is providing in terms of observers and ammunition

You summed up correctly, but you missed "fightings" between Arab monarchies ans Iranian Shia mullah monarchy.

Yes and I think its smart for Pakistan to start aligning itself unless it can benefit diplomatically and militarily by staying non-aligned. I mean if Pakistan gets an opportunity to supply the Gulf militaries with arms and ammo then it would be a big boost to our defense sector and would speed up R&D exponentially for all kinds of stuff.

hmmm translations please COAS really the art of making brothers watch till end
