DUBAI
: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority, received Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and official delegation members, on Monday in Dubai.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed and Bajwa discussed bilateral relations between the UAE and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, as well as military and regional issues.

Bajwa praised the UAE’s cultural renaissance, noting the reputed economic and social stability that characterises the Emirates multi-cultural society.

The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group, Dr Anwar Bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director-General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai, and Major-General Talal Humaid Abdullah Belhoul.

Good news!!!
@Doordie
If Bajwa is on official visit, why isn't he wearing the uniform in the meeting.. I thought it was some minister until I read the details

Alhumdulillah it is a good news and hopefully it will clear the doubt people had.

May all the Muslim countries find peace solution with one another Ameen...

Question is what kind of military corporation are we talking about ???

Probably because he is doing the job of Foreign Minister ... wait, we don't have a foreign minister ... Sartaj Aziz is so dumb at his age that he can't even do press briefings correctly ...

So actually our finance minister aka PM do not consider it important to meet key allies which are ripping off and unfortunately our military commanders are filling the gaps ...

Its such a sorry state of affairs that COAS had to take lead on critical Foreign Affairs issues like these while civilian govt is sleeping. Then the same people also accuse PA of running Foreign Affairs issues while they themselves aint doing anything worth a penny in this regard.

This Is A Great Step To Clear Many of The Misunderstandings Between The Two Countries.

Thanx To Good for Nothing PTI An Ambiguous Resolution Was Moved In The Assembly Which Destroyed 50 Years f Wonderful Friendship Between Pakistan and GCC.It Was Not Just About Not Participating In Yemen War But It Was The Kind Of Language Used In National Assembly About Our Brother Muslim Countries That Alienated Them

I hope he meets the king too..like he met king of KSA on his visit... We must bridge the gap between Pak and Arab countries, which India is trying hard to widen...

But I am thinking tht maybe its an informal/unofficial visit..because firstly, he is not in uniform in any of the pics.. He was in uniform when he met king of KSA.. And another thing to note is tht..nothing has come from ISPR, regd his visit, which is very strange..all we have come to know abt his visit is through gulf media.. So maybe its just an informal visit, to deliver some message.. Whatever, i hope the outcome of his visit is good, and we are able to mend fences with UAE to an extent.. We should not let india, get closer to our traditional allies..

I can think of revolution in Saudi Arabia but no chance in UAE. There is something else going on here either it's related to MIRAGE 2000 or something else
