Before 1948 Arab used to come Sub continent for work. Holy places in Arab land was taken care by muslims of Sub continent (after the fall of Ottoman empire). And then oil came. Imagine the Lord of Indian Hyderabad use to pay 500 rupee to Royal leadership of KSA.

Don't take me wrong or negative. But Sub continent was well established market with huge job opportunity. You live in KSA and you know well, still thousands of Hyderabady/Arab families living in there. Who migrated 100 years ago. I personally know such families.
