Mobile Training Teams, however, are a perfect cover for this operation. Given B.B.'s assassination, this might be the perfect time to swoop in, grab them, and donkey-trail them back to Afghanistan.

If a political leader can be killed even when the govt claims all protection has been given, then these terrorists can also target the nukes and seize them.

Normally i dont say it and specially to a person whos much elder then me and also happens to be an ex army officer but dont be such a Loser with captial L and quit this usual BS. It is not important if she had the majority or the minority. It is the question of how easy it is for the terrorists to target a leader of one of the important political parties. It is the question of how the President and at that time the Head of the Army and the ISI with the highest security around him could be attacked so many times!

It is all about how Mehsud and other Taliban terrorists can hold the country at ransom. It is about how the govt tries to appease these terrorists with treaties.

These are terrorists who have no qualms about attacking a Moslem country i.e. Pakistan. Let us take it for arguments sake, that they are foreign funded and trained.Even so, they are Moslems. Isn't it against the Islamic tenets for Moslems to attack Moslems and Moslems to kill Moslems? Are you suggesting that Moslems can put financial gain over Faith? While that maybe so, but the Moslems forums lead me to believe that Islam cannot be shaken!

Isn't it time that these terrorists, who are Moslems, be attacked and finished off, with no quarters given that they are Moslems?

Warning is not enough. It is the Nation's bounded duty to protect her citizens and more so to protects citizens who are most vulnerable?

What is the idea of being a citizen when one can be killed at will, and that too by cowards who claim to be Moslems?

You just aren't getting the point. We will give our life for the sake of Pakistan. Pakistan was created after a lot of sacrifices and we have given a lot of sacrifices to keep Pakistan honour. Under no circumstances will we allow anyone to take our weapons. If anyone tries I offer myself to be the first line of defence and I am sure their are 160 million people behind me.

I really dont care how much of a chance their is. Pakistan will always have nuclear weapons and they will be safe. We are not a weak nation we have defended the nation before and if necessary do it again. I can tell you no one dares to take such a step and seize our weapons, even they know what will happen. As you can tell when people talk about our weapons we get a bit mad, and that because such propaganda does no one any good and it only makes the people of Pakistan one more reason to be anti-American.

How can you even compare Benazir safety to the safety of our weapons. Even in the U.S. many presidents have been killed, 9/11 also happened, and their are also many other safety concerns in the U.S. Trust me I know I live in New York City. I brought the issue into this thread because its the only topic discussed these days on every western media.
You(media) constantly rant about something in this case the nukes and then you dont expect others to even comment.
And while i dont mind the joint training programe between the US and pakistani forces, however i do have a doubt as every other pakistani would about their stay in pakistan. You see we are not the ones that created the doubts, you(US) are. And in an environmnet like this all precautionery measures are needed to be taken because trust is just not there.
