The big question is do we pay the entire 1 billion dollars????
The bigger question is have we paid previously ???? After all we are a supply root to NATO and help in Afghanistan and with out us the cost will go up to $1Billion a month if you have to import all the fresh fruits from Europe via jets to a land locked country.

Even Pakistan secure one bullet, 'Rona Dhona' always be there; not a complain it is in our neighbour's DNA.

Ignore them and keep on accumulation of whatever is in our favour. Either in charity or by paying.

Someone is complaining here, that these Helos will be used on eastern borders. Who the he'll are they, if we paid or not, when the time will come, it will be our right to unleash hell on our enemy; wherever we will find them.

Yes paying 30 rs for 100 rs product is not free.

Are you retarded?

Paying 30 Rs. for a 100 Rs. product means its discounted or subsidised. Paying 0 Rs. makes it free.

I hope you dont ever run a business if you cant tell the difference.

“This proposed sale will contribute to the foreign policy and national security of the United States by helping to improve the security of a country vital to U.S. foreign policy and national security goals in South Asia,” according to the statement.:welcome:

routine statement you can observe with other notifications related to arm sales as well

I'm trying to find the article, but I believe that Pakistan initially made the request for the helicopters to be funded by US, but was turned down for some reason. Don't know why they later agreed to pay for it instead of canceling the order outright. My guess is that they needed the helicopters to replace some of their Cobras.

The cobras are working fine and are being well maintained, their are other options we can pursue though I suspect behind the scenes some deal was done that both parties were happy with.kudos

Time for India to start blacklisting the american firms involved in supplying weapons to Pakistan. Then gradually reduce dependence on boeing and give preference to airbus.
Now India will be forced to buy something from the americans for parity. And the cycle continues. The americans will profit at our expense.

Oh . Didnt know GE was the only mfr of jet engines in the world.
Negative rating for these posts ??

Its Okay.

But to be quite frank US-Pakistan relations have been quite tumultuous.

Buy stuff from Russia. Have better relations with Russia.
