Of course Taiwan, as well as Japan and the US want good relations between Taiwan and China. Seriously, the only way to make it happen is to launch a full scale war against China. Beat PLA on the battleground completely. And destroy all the military potential of the country. After that, the winner can ask China to sign whatever it wants China to sign. But before that, shut up.

We have sufficient patience to make the reunification happen. There was much worse time in our history. We've waited the reunification for 70 years, we don't mind to wait an additional 10 to 20, or maybe even 30 years. As both side of the strait are Chinese territory, China could first designate the water as internal water. As the right to transit or innocent passage only applies when there is no alternative water way, China could close the strait to foreign traffic thereafter.

That is impossible. The Taiwan strait cannot be regarded as internal waters under law due to the distances involved. Even if both sides were the territory of the same state, the narrowest point is something like 130km. If you subtract 12 + 12nm for the territorial waters in the two sides, this leaves us with something like 85km of international waters in the middle of the strait.
