Well in the 40s, USA could build one of its best carriers(at the time) in an year. Considering the technological advance meanwhile, one year is still the timeline I think is feasible. The only problem might be the nuclear reactor. Btw it is intersting to note that USS Franklin carried same number of aircraft(90) as Nimitz(granted that the aircraft today are more heavier than ever). So we are just looking at a time shift.I think he meant a super-carrier like the Nimitz Class carriers.

Hey! We guyz are anxiously waiting for it to happen...we wanna see if US realli is able to control the staright of Harmuz....U guyz needs to be quick to show the world that U can do that.....but still I doubt it......Yea, right. And, if the putt-putt boats were ever to do that, the entire Iranian coastal military infrastructure would be obliterated within a few hours afterwards. That's what I call "asymmetrical".
The plot thickens! Apparently it was not USA that canceled the drills but Israel did to show its displeasure at Obama's signs he doesn't plan to attack Iran prior to the elections. A USA attack will have to wait until after a new president in 2013.
Therefore, Israel is pushing closer to launching an attack by itself. The key issue is how effective Israe's attack can be: can air strikes really damage Iran's broad technological and industrial base?
Debka also reports KSA has decided to go nuclear with 'Chinese assistance' much to Washington's alarm.

KSA going nuclear is misinformation. Pentagon already confirmed that Israel canceled, not USA. Israel is now probing for a weakness. If it finds a weakness where it can deal a punishing blow to Iran's technological and industrial base with air strikes, then it will go for it.At least 90% of the stuff coming out of Debka is fantasy, fiction or even disinformation.
