Taiwan was "returned" to CKS's China only because he was an ally of the US. So the return was the result of outside big power competition. The US was never an ally with the Chinese communists and so would never had handed over Taiwan to Mao's China had he been in control of the mainland in 1945. That is only so obvious given how US and Chinese soldiers fought agaisnt each other in the Korean War and that the US would not change recognition of CCP China at the UN not until the 1970s.

Furthermore, as I have already pointed out, when other countries were liberated like France, Belgium, etc., they were happy to be free.

Pardon me to press on but it is of course not the case of "just because I say so". There were many post beforehand in these thread the further explained the argument. To which none of you have made good arguments in response.

So I can either keeping repeating the long post of explanation, or I can just assume that the post have been read and start going shorter win length with post.

What I think you're aiming for now is just to leave a last word post that smears my name. A last ditch effort to salvage favorable impression after miserably losing in debate.

And it has often been the case that discussions just resort into the banter like the last couple of pages in this thread. If you have the nerve to call someone out as a whacko, first you yourself should probably contribute a well thought out post. If not, I dare say that you are out of position with talking tough in the absences of making posts that have actual substance, or in other words, maybe you are the whacko.
