Slavery in the Ottoman Empire was a lawful institution and a significant part of the Ottoman Empire's economy and traditional society. The main sources of slaves were wars and politically organized enslavement expeditions in the Caucasus, Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, the Balkans, and Africa.Never point your finger to Turks and try to lecture us about human rights i’ll shove that finger up your asss with facts.
Only for the latter, the Africa, just learn your history.......
"Once upon a time, there may have been as many as 3 million blacks in present-day Turkey, but today only 4,500-5000 remain in the Aegean and Mediterranean areas."

TASTE OF THE PAST - Slavery in Islam was a tradition upheld by the Prophet Muhammad and thus carried over into the Ottoman Empire, however, in the times of the Ottoman, slaves were able to gain high status and prestigious positions
