In reality, India can't do anything against the raging insurgencies within, let alone about Pakistan or China. So, these "Incredible Indians" take refuge in living vicariously through American might or Israeli banditry. Since India itself can't take on Pakistan, they gloat and cheer every time there is a problem between Pakistan and the US.

Your assessment of the drone incident is correct. The drone "crashed" and "disappeared". Pakistan has no knowledge of it.

Do you know why the Indians are gloating? Do you know that the US would just LOVE it if Pakistan engaged them militarily?

After ten years of whack-a-mole in Afghanistan, the US military is frustrated. They have nothing to show for it. No victory, no document of surrender, no clear cut evidence of "mission accomplished". The military likes closure -- give them a target, they will destroy it. They don't like this ongoing, never-ending war in Afghanistan. A war with Pakistan would save the American military's ego. It would give them a clear objective and a juicy target, which they can point to as "mission accomplished".

Suspected US drone crashes in northwest Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani intelligence officials and local residents say a suspected US drone has crashed in the country’s northwest tribal region.

Two intelligence officials say the unmanned aircraft went down Saturday near Mir Ali, one of the main towns in the North Waziristan tribal area, the main sanctuary for Taliban and al-Qaeda militants in Pakistan.

The officials say the drone caught fire after it hit the ground and was believed to have crashed because of technical problems. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media.

Local resident Nasir Khan said he saw the burning debris from the roof of his home in the Machi Khel area. It was about 500 yards (meters) from his house.

Yes , that is exactly what happened. The Drone had a malfunction and it crashed in Pakistani territory near Miran Shah in Waziristan. Also the wreckage has been stolen by the Taliban.

So since the wreckage has been hauled away by Taliban, there is not much the Pakistani Govt. can do to recover the wreckage for the US forces. Well what the heck, these things happen. What are you going to do ?

The drone crashed in Pakistan's North Waziristan, but Taliban responsibility could not be verified

Taliban militants in Pakistan’s tribal area of North Waziristan have taken credit for the downing of a U.S. drone aircraft after it crashed near the Afghan border on Saturday.
“The drone today in Machikhel was flying at low altitude and our fighters fired at and shot it down,” a local commander of the Taliban said. “We have trained people for such type of job.”

After Taliban militants collected the wreckage of the unmanned aerial vehicle, Pakistani security officials arrived to check the downed drone. The Taliban reportedly kept the wreckage because the Pakistani officials left, hearing more drones over head and wanting to avoid getting attacked.

“We don’t know what caused it to go down. We are investigating,” said a Pakistani official. Drones have crashed on their own before, but there is no way to verify whether or not the militants actually shot it down. The U.S. government declined to comment.

Pakistan army couldn't hit drones not because they haven't courage but they don't want to loose particular amount of money they received in response to drone attacks. Sush bold targets only could come from Waziristan's cowboys.
