Actually, Afghanistan was a test launch for India to gain trust from US. Despite of the facts that India will use Afghanistan soil against Pakistan to breed terrorism; they still turned a blind eye so that India can be seen as a strong threat for China as next. However, what happened is history to read & US saw that very well. Given the results & arrogance of Indian Establishment; such statements are not surprise at all. As soon as Afghanistan was done; China gave a final blow to India in North and that is what how everyone sees as India either covert, overt or conventional cannot withstand the onslaught.

For now the way things unfolds and relations are persuaded; I see that US sees India as a sacrificial goat as compare to treating as a major power that can face China at first, in the region to ignite the much needed fire so NATO as a whole can jump in and burn it down. From an alleged military power to challenge China to this day of India being a pawn/sacrificial goat. The designation is changed and that's the harsh reality. They will use India as a hub & mobilization point.

I can be wrong totally but there are some reasons that I see situation like that. Nonetheless; India is threat whether a power or a pawn because of it being the ideal reason to burn this region where US/West has no personal risk to lose anything.

India spreads lies and propaganda to the world. Nothing hidden in that. From 48 war to 65 war to 71 propaganda about 93k soldiers and genocide to 99 to 2008 drama to 2019.

Unfortunately for them, in 2019 Pakistani media was very much open and thanks to technology, the evidence was crystal clear for world to see.

India started drama of killing 50 Indian terrorists (aka Indian soldiers) in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, this was to achieve multiple goals like win in elections, strengthening occupation of IIOJ&K by removing some sham articles and fake surgical strikes to show the world that India is the only regional power. But India failed completely because Pakistan shot down 2 Indian advance fighter jets and bombed 6 Indian targets. India was further exposed when its own military shot down its advance copper killing additional 8 Indian terrorists (aka Indian soldiers). India then failed again when it claimed about F16, the world including united states counted and all f16s were accounted for. But some how Indian propaganda media, rogue army and extremist govt successfully fooled its public again. Where as in reality, Pakistan still stood as regional power along with India.

India's only remaining value is that it has a useable land bridge from IIOJK to Xinjiang that it can use to destablise Xinjang - the Chinese got wind of what the USA was trying to do in Xinjiang via Afghanistan and clamped down - which is why you started hearing about "human rights abuses in Xinjiang all of a sudden".

USA wants India to take the place of Aghanistan as far as the destablisation of east China in Xinjiang goes. Chinese have gotten wind of this also - hence the massive Chinese buildup and Galwan as a warning slap to the Indians.

I firmly believe we are entering the end stage of the "Kashmir conflict" as both China and Pakistan will now kick India out of IIOJK so that India/USA cannot destablise Pakistan Kashmir and Xinjang anymore and so that the Central Asian integrated econonmy can be unlocked take off once there is a barrier between India/USA and Central Asia.

Afghanistan was key to the USA to stop this taking off and now it is Kashmir as a whole.

The main issue was that Modi compromised India's fighting capabilities by cancelling FGFA, Super Sukhoi , Rafale MMRCA deals and delaying the S-400 deal.
