LVIV ENTERPRISES WILL PRODUCE SPARE PARTS FOR UKRAINIAN MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX TO SUBSTITUTE RUSSIAN ONES

UKROBORONPROM and Lviv enterprises will strengthen cooperation in spare parts import substitution for domestic defence industry. Parties will strengthen industrial, scientific and engineering cooperation potential to fulfill state defence order.
This is stated in the Memorandum of expanding cooperation between SH UKROBORONPROM and enterprises of Lviv region, in the framework of state defence order fulfillment and socio-economic development programs, signed on April 10.
"Lviv people are always first ones when it comes to national interests of the state: they were the first ones on Maidan and volunteered to take part in ATO. And now they are the first ones to respond to UKROBORONPROM request to join efforts in strengthening defence potential of our country,” – said UKROBORONPROM Director General Roman Romanov.
Today, state defence industry managed to substitute more than 30% of spares, which we used to buy in Russia. According to import substitution program, State Holding needs to work on 20 thousand units more, that is why UKROBORONPROM invites Ukrainian enterprises to cooperation.
"Lviv region has a huge potential, having become the first one in European model companies consolidation. Our pilot project will allow to attract significant financial and intellectual investments ", - said Roman Romanov.
Activities declared will allow not only to improve competitiveness of domestic products, but also to help in solving social and economic issues.
