U.S committed for strong defense ties with Pakistan

Same statements from the last decade, except now they're also saying the same things to India at the same time.

More F-16s, yes. F 35’s, possibly. F 22s, not going to happen.

For the record, as a US citizen, I have no problem with Pakistan getting more F-16s and getting F 35’s

Also maybe getting more help with your navy with other tech and such

Americans as individuals have no issues, but the lobbies in Washington does.

Block f16
Block turkish helicopter

But we are committed. Looool jokers

To be honest, Pakistan military would be incredibly stupid to fall for this kind of stuff again. It's been rinsed and repeated so many times - not sure we can count how many times. I am not even sure why Pakistan military fell for the AH-1Z and T-129 engine. But you'd have to be a real special version of stupid to fall for this again.

F 16 V, F15 EX, and F35 is not possible for Pakistan due to its closeness with China. In the past Pakistan help USA to fight its main enemy USSR in Afghanistan, Today Pakistan side with its new enemy China.

the only real ally we ever have is China.

we best remember this.

now brits , Americans are coming to our region in aid of India vs China,

US wants Pakistan for its own needs, They now speak Indian Language in their many demands.
Pakistan has to safeguard its interests. Nothing is in platter for Pakistan.

Rather asking for F16s and Super Cobras, we should ask US to establish Ivy Leagues campuses in Pakistan that shall produce a better leadership in this country and consequently it would put us on the path economic prosperity
Not sure why you think Ivy League graduates are not involved in corruption.

Your right, the F-16V is being sold to Taiwan and will make up the backbone of their aerial defense. The best Pakistan should hope for it is used F-16s given a MLU and overhaul and either the US allowing Pakistan to get a Turkish AESA radar and avionics upgrade or at the very least allowing Pakistan to upgrade the plane with an AESA radar developed in Pakistan from what is being developed for the JF-17 Block III (and avionics).

If Pakistan phases out all American equipment, when their service life ends, the US will be losing what little influence it still has in Pakistan, and Pakistan will become even more accommodating to China, in areas it is still reluctant and hoping it can avoid doing. A Pakistan that can independently protect and fund itself, would not need to open itself up to a possible Chinese naval presence, even on an intermittent basis.

The Turkish upgrade would probably be the best option for both nations, and a back channel way to possibly mend US-Turkish relations. Rebuilding alliances, as stated by the new administration, is in the US national security interests. What better way then to address a core security interest of an ally.

Frankly, we all know the US is just waiting to see how Afghanistan shakes out; All’s well that ends well.

They blocked sale of engines to turkey because turkey bought S-400 from russia, and that ban has nothing todo with Pak turkey heli sale, we might see US offers Vipers to pak in near future

The statement comes when Pakistan has obtained long range radar from US and possibly getting c130s. If US cannot provide offensive weapons from CSF, PAF should get tanker for F16 fleet and get troop mobility choppers.
