A few days ago I had a chance to meet my cousin who is deployed in Tirah Valley along with the unit.
The same area where the unfortunate incident with 35 Punjab took place.
And my cousin was caught in a yet another ttp bush in the area.I don't think this incident went public or not, these things happen there on a daily basis.
10 ttp gunmen wrecked havoc on the Jawans.
Now this is a bit surprising bcz Tirah is already cleared but I guess Talidogs do sneak in occasionally.
Long story short,SSG was invited to the rescue and all of them were killed save two who were given a 'fair treatment' by the SSG for the purpose of sending the video of their respective fates to the Talidogs.
These mind games have to be played in order to retard their morale.
My cousin was telling me ajeeb things.
He said that the Talidogs are not afraid of the regular infantry the least bit and they don't even consider them an obstacle. This is interesting considering that most of the beating they get is by the regular troops. The kill ratio of the troops is also more than satisfactory. Great in fact.
But still...only God knows why they are so scared of the SSG alone.
Whenever they get a hint of SSG in the area,my cousin said, they immediately leave positions and tell each other to retreat.
"Pagal agay hen ab niklo"
(Mad guys have approached,so retreat) is what they tell each other on the arrival of SSG guys.
That is why some people make sarcastic comments that ZARB E AZB is being done by SSG and the troops are on a supportive role there.Off course this is said on a lighter note as a joke but still it says a lot about the SSG.
*Geese Bomps*
Same is the case with the Cobras.
Cobras have become a symbol of terror and painful death for the Taliban.
That's why PA is considering more attack helis from Russia,China etc.
May Allah preserve our SSG guys.

. .
Wait for the arrival of Mi-35,when those monsters filled with SSG will enter the area they will die of heart attacks :D

Also a near same repo exist for NLI units those guys are "pagal" in real sense.Once the firefight starts you dont want to be in the same area as those guys, they leave nothing alive.

.
Plz include tanks too in the list. Wherever tanks are deployed the Tablibs get a beating. Even during night time if they are sneaking some valley and are in the tank's range, they get blown to pieces. So they stay away from places which are covered by tanks.

Captain among 3 army men killed in blast - Newspaper - DAWN.COM

This is where remaining militants comes from

Officials say that 95 per cent of the area is now under firm government control and that militants hiding in the remaining pockets of Kachkol and Rajgal are being targeted through precision strikes. “There is no way they can get in,” they said.

It is still unclear whether the military will launch the third and final phase of Khyber-2 to seize control of Rajgal and Kachkol valleys or continue to target militants and their hideouts through aerial strikes till winters in the snow-bound area to make it inhabitable for them.

Military operation in Khyber ends successfully

I say let them freeze to death. Our solider lives are important to us and wouldn't want them to be wasted on these lowlives.

Well Who doesn't fear SSG? :) And we could have never beaten these pigs with Fear factor because they do not fear much which is one of their greatest strengths.I mean they don't fear blasting themselves then what on Earth they would have feared? Our regular Infantry is kicking their arse pretty decent so no worries. Most areas have already been cleared.

They do fear 'blowing themselves up' - that's why they have all these 'training centers' to prepare suicide bombers in. In most cases the suicide bombers are drugged up and drunk as well, to give them the 'courage' to pull the trigger, and often 'handlers' retain the ability to detonate the explosives remotely in case the suicide bomber decides that 'the 72 virgin men waiting to pound his rear end into oblivion in hell' is not sufficient enough motivation.
