Indian :blah::blah::blah::blah::blah::blah::blah: ...... like I said......avoid stupid commentary!

.
Again....try to avoid stupid commentary and quote a source/ verifiable proof before you point a finger at Pakistan!

What source are you talking about??? . I am not a police officer to furnish you evidence ?? we are quoting the media here and the picutres of the terroists.. and the interview of the police personnel explaining the details of the encounter and evidence found. Which is given in the second post. However i also presume you are not an LET man or any member of terrorist group so as to confidently say that there are no terrorists sent to india..!!!!

.
Are Pakistani members going to believe in anything ever?

According to all of them, here is the version of 'Noida Episode' :

Indian agencies arrest an innocent Bangladeshi / Nepali / Pakistani. Then they give him Pakistani passports, other documents, automatic weapons (like AK-47) and a vehicle. Not to mention training for driving and operating the weapons. Then he is told to go around firing and if possible, gunning down some policemen. After that, he must stop using the deadly weapons and stop at some place which convenient for ATS to gun him down.

The prisoner happily agrees because not only he will be called a terrorist, but also Pakistan is going to be blamed. So, he does not use it as a chance to escape, but he strictly follows the orders from RAW and in this way, a fake encounter is created.

.
Look Please lets not blame each other, Read the news, If u dont agree post something countering it and finish it. The same thing happened after 26/11. Some said kasab is amar singh and the information was leaked by a shudra (lower caste) raw agent to a certain Pakistani! Now what happened? Kasab has been proved to be a Pakistani.

There is no use with people like us, shouting aloud here. We need to wait and watch how it goes on. Be careful with words, because You cant eat them or take them back after it is uttered! God Speed.

.
sir
i agree we need to wait and watch, its not at all civilized way to respond with just blaming without a sure proof and before investigation is done.
we need to wait and see what happens and if there are certain citizen of Pakistan found we should present them to Pakistan. and ask them what they can do.
or ask our politician what they can do about it , beef up security or intelligence or what ever logical answer they come up with.
But if anything else is result-and these terrorist are not even terrorist are not Pakistani.-- we will be in very embarrassing situation. so lets please wait and watch what unfolds here.

Right! that is what I said before, you are basing your biased assessment on your Police report on the media thinking whatever they say is right whereas even they have not displayed any evidence to this effect other than a bollywood type report of gunning down two 'terrorists' with 'Pakistani' passports!

Again try real hard to avoid stupid commentary in your post! I am as much of an LeT man as much as you are a RAW operative sending terrorists into Baluchistan and NWFP! Of course we send saboteurs into your territory like you do in ours that's what espionage and counter espionage is all about, but we do not give them passports and other telling documents for your 'efficient police' to get a hold of!

SICK OF THESE INDAN DRAMAS,:coffee:

Damn its nice bollywood movie btw...

"Prena mujhey tumsey mohabbat ho gayi hai... likin ISI ka jaal yahan har jagha bicha huwa hai... Har koney pey har chappey pey ISI agent hai. Woh hamarey pyar mein ek beech ki daraar ban key reh gayay hain"

Damn i love Indians... specially when they believe every little strand of bullshit spawned by the media. :smitten:

How do u do it? I mean I would like to learn from you guys. Please teach me.

Noida encounter: Many loopholes in police theory
27 Jan 2009, 0200 hrs IST, Lalit Kumar & Pervez Iqbal Siddiqui, TNN

NOIDA/LUCKNOW: Talk about coincidence. Two terrorists, out to stage a Republic Day attack in Delhi, stopped at a tea stall to ask for directions
from a man ― who just happened to be a police informer, related to a constable. Not just that, the barrel of an AK gun was peeping out from their bag. The hawk-eyed informer spotted this and promptly told the cops.

Too pat for comfort? Well, that's the version of the UP ATS. And that's not the only thing that raises increasing doubts about the veracity of the pre-dawn Noida encounter. The two alleged Pakistani terrorists who were gunned down on Sunday morning weren't carrying either a satellite phone or a mobile, the UP Anti-Terrorist Squad said on Monday.

This would make it a first among major terror strikes in recent times where the attackers had no means of communicating among themselves or receiving instructions from their handlers.

Experts say, for terror outfits, communication is a crucial element of any operation, be it the 26/11 Mumbai attack or the Delhi serial blasts.

That's not all. It now surfaces that there are two versions on where the ATS team started chasing the militants. The ATS says the pursuit began from Amity checkpost in Noida, which is around 6km from the spot where the alleged terrorists, Farookh and Ismail, were killed. A press note issued by the director general of police headquarters in Lucknow said that after the vehicle was spotted near the Amity police outpost and the ATS men waved it to stop, the Maruti took a right turn and tried to speed off. A hot pursuit, exchange of fire and final assault by the men in uniform finally brought the curtains down on the ambush, it added.

Noida police sources, however, maintain that the terrorists ― who ``confessed'' before dying that they were from Pakistan ― were chased for 25km starting from Lal Kuan area in Ghaziabad, where the informer first spotted their ``suspicious activities''.

The nature of the tip-off too raises doubts. Asked how the police informer became suspicious, deputy inspector general (ATS) Lucknow, Rajiv Krishna, said he had seen them with an AK rifle. The barrel of the rifle was sticking out of an unzipped portion of a bag, he explained, adding that the informer was actually a relative of a police constable. ``The barrel of AK rifles has a typical `A' shaped target guide. The informer saw the bag and noticed that ‘A' jutting out,'' explained Krishna.

It appears from this version that the terrorists were incredibly indiscreet about the arms they were carrying for the mission.

According to the ATS, the informer had even communicated to them his perception that the two suspects did not appear to be locals and their dialect had a `Muslim touch'.

``Actually, the two suspects stopped at a tea-stall near Lal Kuan, and by sheer luck, they asked our informer about the route and distance to Delhi,'' Krishna said.

The terrorists, with gun jutting out of a bag, asking an informer about the route to Delhi on Republic Day eve! Sheer coincidence or a badly constructed tale? If you add to this the claim that the terrorists were trying to enter the Capital in the early morning of R-Day ― when security was likely to be at its tightest ^ the version appears incredible.

The ATS, however, is sticking to its guns. Said Brij Lal, additional director general of police, law and order, Crime and Anti-Terrorist Squad, ``There is a bullet mark on the vehicle that was leading the chase. One of our jawans even suffered a bullet injury on his leg and is still in hospital. In fact, a surgery had to be performed on his wound on Monday to help it heal faster.''

``As far as the suspects' car is concerned (which has no bullet marks), the cops chasing them targeted the lower portion of the car and it was because of this that one of the rear tyres was punctured, forcing them to abandon the vehicle and run for cover in the open,'' Brij Lal said.

Interestingly, the encounter site in sector 97 Noida is the same spot where a criminal, Narendra, alias Kalu, was shot dead on December 18, 2008. He had allegedly murdered three businessmen in Baghpat a few weeks earlier. That's not all. Three other criminals, including gangster Birju Pahadi, were gunned down at exactly this spot on April 17 last year.

A Noida police officer said, ``Well, that is a lonely spot where criminals can hide, absolutely undisturbed. Besides, these may just be a coincidence.''

Yes i was biased because we didnt have any other reason to suspect the terrorists because of the past deeds in kashmir.. mumbai etc, and was talking purely based on the information given to us by our ATS. And there was no reason to think about the same as drama baazii.!!!! As india have always suspected of pakistani terrorsits(of which most became true) in terror strikes in india but never CREATED any DRAMA of killing its own people just to isolate pakistan..!!!!:disagree: Well lets wait for the investigation to get over.. and shall continue this discussion then..!!!!

Doubts over ‘Pakistan militants’ foiled by India

Tuesday, 27 Jan, 2009 | 02:38 PM PST |

NEW DELHI: Indian media has raised doubts about police credibility over the killing of two Pakistani militants in New Delhi on Monday. As the police claim to have foiled an attack on India’s capital, newspapers wonder if the whole episode might have been staged.

The controversy is an unwelcome distraction from India's efforts to bring to book the Pakistanis it blames for November's attack on Mumbai.

Police on Sunday said they killed two militants after a car chase in Noida city on the outskirts of New Delhi on the eve of Republic Day. AK-47 rifles, grenades and a Pakistani passport were recovered, according to officials.

But the story sounded to some newspapers too good to be true. The militants not only conveniently carried Pakistani identification, they also asked for directions outside Delhi with an AK-47 poking out of a bag, and then confessed before dying.

The incident came amid heightened tension with Pakistan after the Mumbai attacks late last year. A brutal attack on the capital could have the potential to push the two nuclear-armed neighbours closer to the brink.

'(The doubts) hurt India's credibility more now than ever before, especially as India is now under international focus and trying to tell the world to act against terrorism after attacks on Mumbai,' retired Major-General Ashok Mehta told Reuters.

Indians even have a phrase for these kind of suspicions – 'fake encounters' – when police are accused of killing suspected criminals in cold blood and passing the incidents off as gunbattles to reap either fame or cash rewards.

'Doubts have always persisted about fake encounters and killings in India, but everything looks suspicious in this case,' Mehta, a security analyst, said.

Surprisingly, India's foreign ministry and home ministry have both been silent on the case.
One newspaper expressed doubts about the timing of Sunday's incident.

'We would have been a wee bit surprised had the police not produced some 'terrorists' – slain or alive – in the run-up to the Republic Day,' the Mail Today said.

'For the past many years encounters and arrests have been regular as the official ceremony on these occasions.'

The Times of India raised several suspicions, from conflicting police versions to the fact two previous encounters had taken place in the same isolated spot in less than 10 months.
The militants not only advertised their intentions with a gun-laden bag, they also asked for directions from a tea-seller – who just happened to be a police informer, the paper said.
Uttar Pradesh police said they were still investigating.

'People are free to interpret and react to the situation in their own ways,' senior Uttar Pradesh police officer Rajiv Krishna said, when asked about reports of a fake encounter.
Indian security experts say there is no doubt that Indian police are dealing every week with militant cells.

The Indian government and many experts say there is ample evidence that Pakistan is communicating with many of these cells. Western allies such as the United States are convinced of the evidence that Pakistani militants were involved in Mumbai.

But while the threat is real, doubts about the police will not go away.

'The problem is credibility of the police and the fact that nobody believes the police these days,' Julio Ribeiro, former Mumbai police commissioner, told Reuters.

India's human rights commission is investigating a previous gunbattle in New Delhi last year against two suspected Islamist militants after media alleged it could have been faked.
In Sunday's incident, the police came from one of India's most lawless and corrupt states, Uttar Pradesh.

'These encounters are very murky,' said Ajai Sahni, executive director at the Institute for Conflict Management.

'The fact that it happened in UP raises more doubts, but that doesn't mean it was a fake encounter.'
