Nehru was too idealistic and it was his principles which was mostly followed for next 40 years and made India a basket case.. All India got was a leader of NAM and extreme eternal poverty..His name was being chanted in African nations while poor indians were dying due to famines..
Rajiv was too naive to understand the ground realities..

You are joking, right? Nehru was a great leader but he unfortunately took India on a socialistic path which ended by creating an almost moribund economy. Rajiv Gandhi did pretty much nothing major except for bringing in Pitroda who started the change in the telecom scene. MMS has certainly been good but the credit for the reforms of the early 90's must go to Narsimha Rao. Btw, your allegation of him being a RSS man is ludicrous since he became PM after spending a life time in the Congress. Are you arguing that the Congress were idiots before to allow him to hold every major post in the government if he was indeed an RSS man.

Anyone who spoke 15 languages (including half a dozen foreign languages) is imo, not someone to be scoffed at.

Nehru was more concerned about his self glorification than anything else. He wanted to be recognized as a major world figure. So he became instrumental in forming NAM ,eventhough it was an open secret that the 3 main founders of NAM- Egypt, India & Yugoslaviya were tacit supporters of USSR and advocates of socialistic growth. India adopted socialistic path of growth which held back our potential for a long time. His misguided foreign policies resulted in Kashmir conflict and War with China in 1962.

During British times Bihar was the most industrialized state in India. During Nehru's time a bill was passed by which resources from Bihar could be transported to any part of India through rail under subsidy. This caused the big industrialists to establish their firms in coastal areas rather than Bihar. This was the start of the decline of Bihar. Other was the license raj.Our elders still remember the time when it took years to get a new Bajaj scooter after booking.

Rajiv Ghandhi was a weak PM & so is MMS.

Indonesia still has a subdued NAM policy look at it fastest growing economy in East asia and good chances of it joining BRICS

Sorry dear but you need to read history carefully. Do you really know about nehru coze of him partition happened in 1947. He has very close relationship with India's last Viceroy (Lord Mountbatten) wife. He forced Gandhi that he want to become Ist PM of Independence India. Other wise jinnah who want to become Ist PM.

Why do you think he did it for him and not for the country!!!!!!!!!! coz you have biased view about it similarly SARDAR BALLABH BHAI PATEL was the home minister and Nehru being the PM never gets credit for annexing Hyderabad and other territories after independence........wats with weak PM cliche so who according to you is a strong PM and why???????

He has very close relationship with India's last Viceroy (Lord Mountbatten) wife. He forced Gandhi that he want to become Ist PM of Independence India. Other wise jinnah who want to become Ist PM.

If it weren't for Nehru congress would have accepted to have dominion status instead of full freedom read history please mostly i have noticed FC people bad mouth Nehru and mostly other caste people respect him so i guess its biased view we have towards him huh!!!!!!!

buddy Bhagat singh is my role model and its not about who claimed or not ok its about strategy congress had no bargaining power to ask for freedom from BRITS so it went for Dominions status but after WW2 it pushed for complete freedom inspite of the fact that Brits offered INDIA dominion status due its weakened national status after the war!!!! Gandhi had a chance of freeing Bhagat Singh when non cooperation moment was gaining a momentum and Brits were desperate for it to stop but Gandhi never made any move and he totally disbanded the movt. after Chauri-Chaura incident... Please lets not be naive we in india know who hates congress and its leaders and why lets leave it at that shall we
