I don't think it's worthful to talk with a PM of a country who cannot control institution under him and under his nose it tries to derail the peace process. How can say that India should talk with Pakistan even after Kargil, 26/11 where it is evident that Pakistan Govt machinery was indirectly involved.

By which time a lot of water had flown down already. 26/11 didn't happen in isolation, it came after the Pakistani army repudiated Musharraf's formula & the PPP government followed suit. Even today, Pakistan has never sought to go back to the Musharraf formula which has caused a rethink in India about the pointlessness of such agreements if all powers within Pakistan aren't on board. There is now a significant hardening of positions on the Indian side too.
