This is why we need a high altitude combat helicopter squadron near the LOC, apparently the confrontation went on for half an hour, more than enough time for air support to arrive if there was a helicopter squadron nearby. hopefully the LCH with its high altitude capability will come soon to protect our soldiers.

Yes, but I doubt PA troops would get into close quarters combat with IA troops on the LoC of all places , its much easier to just fire on them and get a quick kill.

The Indian COAS is not a powerful postion like it is in Pakistan, they don't make statements- it is not their place to, the politicans/ministers do. The Indian Foreign ministery has already made such a statement on these acts.
