NEW DELHI: Two jawans were martyred after Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector in north Kashmir's Kupwara district on Wednesday, reported Times Now.

The incident comes a day after security forces cornered three Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists in central Kashmir's Budgam district. All three terrorists were killed on Wednesday in a long drawn out gun fight with security personnel.

On Wednesday, Pakistan Army had violated the ceasefire in Poonch district, targeting villages and forward posts along the LoC with mortars and small arms fire.

There have been 23 incidents of ceasefire violation, one BAT attack and two infiltration bids by Pakistan in June in which four people, including three jawans, were killed and 12 injured.

Get off your high horse , your tiny ego is busted, do you know these causality figures breaks down to an average of 25 every month, when was the last time such figures were ever admitted by your army....but now since the news is 15 year old, it will not raise many questions...no wonder your neta is shocked and blames the army for hiding the figures. :pleasantry:

''The figures are shocking and indicate that we lose our jawans more frequently in ceasefire violations than we are told. I plan to write to the government to make all these instances known to the people.”
Brah I think you still get it,I as an Indian citizen has the right to information ,now I can request the information between any two dates and request the figures ,if I take the figures for last 50 years and publish it that dsnt mean the information is withheld till now.if you ask for it you get it and won't be denied stating national security.:cheesy:

It is well known Pakistani military establishment hides deaths of your soldiers for many months/years example in February 2010, 3 soldiers of 32 baloch regiment were killed along LoC but It was not at all reported by ISPR and media.

Indian Army's 2016 death toll of 64 is highest in six years

12 as per ISPR which is far authentic than any Samaa program.
ISPR is official propaganda arm so it has Zero authenticity.
ISPR did not report the deaths of 3 soldiers of 32 baloch regiment along LoC in Feb 2010 nor did it report the death of 2 soldiers along LoC in Nov 2007.
And there are many more examples.
