Our anti-terror is considerably better than European since we are used to anti-terror measures. The death toll would be up in dozens if the security hadn't spotted them before they reached the gates. Most of the deaths so far is security.

Hope casualties are as small as possible but considering Ataturk Airport is a hub which is always crowded with a lot people from all over the world it will be very hard. Attack is the same like in Brussels. Rest in peace to all victims.

I want to agree with you, i really do. But we need to protect inside our borders first. Fighting terrorists outside our borders would aggrevate them and lead to countless terror attacks. We need to stay vigilant, but we also need to think every option and the possible outcome of every option.

We need this all the way from mediterranian sea to Iran border, seismic sensors, thermal camera, sharp shooting turrets, 500m buffer zone, you name it.

Most of Europe is a total shambles when it comes to security - but they are having to learn fast.

Turkey like Israel has outer and inner airport security. In Israel you can't get anywhere near the terminal building until you pass a checkpoint.

Turkey is a bigger challenge to protect because it's a large country with quite porous borders.

It's the age we live in.
