so I mean you should be smart enough to take the hint I am throwing here...

Whats the hint?
Indians understood the industry that matters - if they have professionals who rank very highly and are promoted as a culture either in IT(massive change from Apu the gas station employee in Simpsons) or Bollywood and have their internal support system to push their own people then they deserve to lead. Now if this means their political views whether anti-Pakistan or Islamiphobic also come as part of this leadership package and it is acceptable to the shareholders of the company then Pakistanis can cry to their mommies or whatever and it wont matter jack. After all, Pakistani exports are limited to Textiles & football which NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT and their cultural impression is this..

This thread is an essence of what you said! If Pakistanis actually realized education matters instead of dawaats and aunty gossip maybe we could be at a position like this. Instead of um you know crying and doing some gymnastics on who is better and who has a higher IQ.

Learn Pakistanis. Learn. More effort is put into burning stuff down I guess.

What makes you think no? They earn over 100K on AVERAGE in the US

Indian Americans are the preferred managerial class in the Anglo world.

They are disproportionately represented in the ranks of Silicon Valley CEO's and elite managers.

Now they are becoming very visually represented as part of the governance class.

Let's give where credit is due. India's elites have a very high IQ and are extremely well versed in the field of social networking and this is why they are achieving great success within the structures of the Western world. Haters can call it brown nosing or say it is because they are good servants, and maybe to an extent, that might be true. But there is no doubt they are significantly expanding their political and social influence among the very highest echelons of society in the Anglo world.

Hint is IQ isn't the issue if it was Chinese should be at the top (IQ and stuff is very important too just look at them or our IQ is similar to Iran but look at them too- they're killing it in Stem, and every kind of research despite being under sanctions - imagine without it)

You need a lot of other things, an intelligent populace is important and shouldn't be ignored

But
there are a lot of other things you need to do to, on an administrative and systemimatic level to make sure that you use that populace to good use

On average they may not be as smart as an Iranian or a Chinese but who ever is

The system ensures that those who are - get the most out of Thier potential or they make a good use of Thier elites, and intelligent people

Apply burnol. Race is not a factor in selecting CEO, he's smart, went to IIT, then Stanford for MS and PhD. He was the CTO at twitter and now he's the CEO before holding top positions in Microsoft, AT&T.

Indian American means person of Indian Origin.
Very impressive track record, indeed and highly educated. Congratulations!

Can't wait for Indians to start claiming Twitter as theirs.

Exactly, numbers and immerse social networking as well as priority in education.

Pakistan caters to sardars and waderas. This is the reason for the divide of overseas Pakistanis and those in Pakistan. Despite Pakistan being run on by remittances.

the regions that make money for Pakistan don't work on Saraars, waderas (someone else might have replaced them- a industrialist, or a real state guy probably) anymore
Punjab minus SP, Karachi, Hyderabad or nowadays Peshawar valley areas are developing the TTP killings of sardars had an affect on these sardars and nationalist parties dying out

So I mean expect for under developed areas like Baluchistan, interior Sindh, SP, FATA - the sardar feudal system is not as big an issue as it used to be some decades ago (population grew so the power of one man based on agricultural land declined)

Its an issue but not the biggest issue (except for our underdeveloped areas) - I think our system is lacking somewhere to get the ball rolling, biggest issue is over the years our state voluntarily lost power - need to make our state more powerful (by state I mean local administration)

Why Indians love to boast about Indian CEOs working for American companies? Google is American, Microsoft is American, Twitter is American, IBM is American, Palo Alto is American, and Adobe is American. They are all American companies, founded and owned by Americans. India can't create these companies. Indian CEOs are just cheap workers hired by American companies.

Quite sad really. Our best and brightest are leaving for US. We should retain them more.
Brain drain has been reducing in last few decades slowly as more opportunities at home are opening up, but India is still a long way away in the road to progress and naturally most of the brighter minds would move to country which is more rewarding of their talent. In coming decades brain drain would reduce even further for now However we can find solace in the fact that our universities and Institutes can churn out grads that are top of their line of work that is going to benefit us greatly in future. Not to forget having such a huge diaspora overseas has its own benefits like billions of dollars of remittance coming in every year as well as some political potential.
