Twitter Continues to Permanently Silence Pakistani Activists in a bid to Appease Modi.

After the banning of Pakistan Defence Forum from twitter, another Pakistani activist, critical of Indian military occupation in Kashmir has been permanently silenced by twitter. Madiha Shakil is mentioned on Indian Govt's twitter hit list. She had a large, organic following on twitter. Earlier this month at the request of the Modi Govt, Madiha was "country restricted" by twitter, so her tweets were no longer available in India. Her account was permanently blocked by twitter last night.

It is worthy of note that the Indian Govt has hired a law firm to dispatch legal notices to twitter, forcing the social media giant to harrass and target Pakistani twitter users, deemed by Indian Govt to be "in violation of the Indian law".

In on going crackdown on Pakistani twitter users, the official account of Pakistan Defence Forum has been suspended twice at the request of the Indian Govt, including its verified account. There were no warnings or history of violations noted by the targeted users.

With the Pakistani Govt not doing anything to counter this abhorrent abuse of Pakistani twitter users, the only question to ask it seems is; Who's next to be silenced by twitter?

I have been following pdf for quite long both in forum and twitter. Wasnt PDF banned cos you had posted a fake edited picture of a poor girl and responded haughtily when the girl in question directly contacted and asked to remove the picture? And PM Modi has no other job to do except to follow, read and block some twitter accounts. They have their jobs to do.

This is the same thing being repeated again and again. In 2016 Facebook did the same thing blocking people for a month specifically sharing or posting pictures from Kashmir after Shaheed Burhan Wani's martyrdom. Happened on Quora, now twitter is doing the same.

Not only Defence Paksitan but thousands of Pakistani accounts were suspended overnight on even retweeting
India's genocide in Kashmir.
We need to engage with PTA and Information ministry and start blocking indian news portals and disallow them to give their opinion. This is all about information war.

PAkistani liberal ch*tiyas who are silent on this and others need to speak about it and push their narrative on international media.

They aer just protecting their own nefarious interests.

Silence and tolerance of this exercise has emboldened indian handlers to continue their pressure.
This is huge violation of digital human rights.
This needs to be brought and if needed block both social media handles in Pakistan and file cases on them for censoring just to appease rape capital of the world India.

Oh you dont know. It's a hillarious string of tweets and haughty replies, until twitter stood up and kicked the ghairaat of the mod in question, setting off a waterfall of tears to hide their complicity in an act of fake news.

Finally the woman in question too reported and warned?

Which forced twitter to basically kick defencedotpk out of twitter. Remember, this was not the first instance of fake news by this site. As it turns out, they did accuse others of blasphemy, a crime that carries the death sentence in Pakistan.

So what does the mod do? Create another account, when it was expressedly mentioned not to create a second account to bypass the ban on first.

Result: Another kickout.

But why look at the real causes when you can claim conspiracy and victimhood all day long? (or years long in this case)
