really ?
why don't you send them to compete ?
Sports is not all about height and strength
I can confidently say that people from Pakistan are normally taller, stronger and even fairer then the rest of the sub continent
The people here are much more rugged and hardy from Pathans to Baloch to Kashmiris to Punjabis to general Northern Pakistanis
However sports success dosent come from throwing some dude into a match
There needs to be training, competitive match play, support and coaching etc
In Pakistan we have none of these
The only sports we can say we have these in is CRICKET and even then its comparatively poor to Aus, Eng or Ind
Nevertheless we have got coaches, a competitive domestic tournaments, national academies etc
So with natural flair and ability and love of the game we can play and win against better prepared opponents
With every other sport we have none of this
We have a superb record in hockey (check our Olympic and world cup medals) but the support in Pakistan is nothing more than college teams competing we don't have a proper competitive national tournament
Pakistan has enourmous potential
All the sub continent is mired in backwardness
So it will take a long long time for us to really compete with the world (outside of cricket)
India is ahead of us and has taken concrete steps to support various sports from hockey to badminton etc so it will have some success on the coming years
still pathetic for 1.4 billion people but it eont stop the indian crowing
Until Pakistan steps up and provides similar support to our sports system we will face the ignominy of loss with only cricket being a standout
But nevertheless regardless of all that have NO DOUBT
that Pakistanis are taller, fairer, stronger and more rugged compared to the rest of the sub continent and this is a natural phenomenon
