KTV means Karaoke TV ...it's sort of a place where instrumental tunes of your favorite songs plays with lyrics minus voice and you can sing along with it .

It's pretty popular in many east asian countries ...

There are quite a lot KTV places in Singapore ....not just Geylang .

That was my point to

Evacuation is evacuation, everyone should help to evacuate everyone to safety.

What I find amusing is dramatization.

PS: Only today 26 indians were evacuated by Pakistan Navy.

So should the super duper operation be considered a failure because it couldn't get all indians out ?
