The biopic drama made on Qandeels life made the channel earn huge profits. Watching urdu1s dramas monetary success now Aplus ,another channel, is making a telefilm on little Zainab. Zainabs incident was so open and widely covered that it in itself was a lesson and definitely doesnt need to be made into a telefilm. Making a drama or telefilm inspired by incident is one thing but seriously why use Zainabs reference here? Infact the dramas name will carry her name.

Such shame. And whats more shameful is that Umera ahmed who always acted to be religious n hi morals person not only wtote Baaghis script (qandeel baloch biopic) now again she is writing on Zainab. Umera seems to be so interested in making money or getting her name attached with such projects that they claim to be "human rights awareness shows" all for wordly fame's sakethat she continues to write for projects that use human tragedy to make moolah. The channel itself saw that Umeras writing on baghi helped urdu1 amass huge profits, they went on to rope her in for tis project as well.

What has gone wrong with our country's channels and their moral values? Last year ary used child rape topic to make profits from a drama called muqabil. Issue is not abt the topic ,issue is the way a drama is made in insincere way where it clearly seems to be made for commercial reasons and child abuse topic is only used to attract viewrship.

In this regards, the media industry, with its reach, understands the responsibility of educating the masses and raising awareness, as much as it can. And so, when A Plus announced that it plans on adapting the rape and murder of the 8 year old Zainab from Kasur, we understand, that it is in efforts to create an awareness about pedophilia and its rise in the country.

Written by Umera Ahmed, the same maestro who recreated Qandeel Baloch's story for Baaghi on Urdu 1, Zainab Kay Qatil, will be directed by Aamir Yousaf and will star Hamna Amir as Zainab, Suhail Sameer, Saba Faisal and also Irfan Khoosat. Zainab's incident gained worldwide coverage. We hope, Umera Ahmed, with her sensitivity and Aamir Yousaf with his vision can create a visual that hits right in the feels and delivers its purpose without sensationalizing a young child and her story.
