Nixon was certainly personally an uncouth man. Watch 'Nixon' starring Anthony Hopkins. I used to own a VCR tape of that in the 1990s. Haha.

He did have a particular venom for Indians! I don't know if that racist guy was very fond of Pakistan either. But maybe the dashing Ayub Khan forming an alliance with the USA in the 1960s won many personal admirers for not only Ayub but also for Pakistan, when compared with the likes of L.B. Shastri and Indira Gandhi of India. Or the eloquent Western oriented Pakistani leaders like Zulfi Bhutto under Ayub. Compared with them, the Indian leadership looked stale and physically unattractive.

And later the charming, beautiful Benazir Bhutto with her perfect English visiting America as the Prime Minister of Pakistan and addressing the Joint Session of the US Congress, did some wonders like finally acquiring the F16s which had been blocked hitherto.
