There is a hype around BAYRAKTAR and unfortunately a campaign against TAI-Anka .
TAI is proceeding as agreed and will be 100 % national "Milli".

ANKA is a strategic airforce project, TurAf wants more and more e.g. Sat-Com, weapon load, SAR , higher altitude and longer endurance. And at least civil airspace certification.
That's very important cause ANKA will be operated in a joint program with SNC for a revolutionary intelligence gathering project "Called Data Fusion" and has to fly in civil airspace and avoid crash.

Turkey's Anka to Get New Engine - UAS VISION

Turkey’s procurement agency, the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSM), signed in December 2012 a contract with TEI to produce five prototype engines for the Anka. The design, production and certification tests would take four years, according to the contract.

TEI has created a task force among its more than 200 design engineers to build a new engine for the Anka, Turkey’s indigenously developed drone, and some TEI engineers are working with GE Aviation’s engine designers in Turkey.

The program became more important when the expected engine provider became bankrupt and was bought by a company that would not provide the engines. According to Defense News TEI officials said foreign sales could be possible within two years after the engine passes performance tests with the Anka. A procurement official said engine exports may not be limited to the US.

Bayraktar is a tactical drone. For Police and Gendarme, maybe also for Land Forces Command.
Apple and Peas.
They have no certification problems cause it can only fly in closed NOTAM airspace,
it has no civil airspace certification.

I was wondering when I visited some serious Turkish Defence forums today
and did read that even respected Arda M. joined that hype and wrote that TB2 is 93 % national "Milli"
(exact the sentence in TB-2 - PR Bayraktar Video) national, except Gimbal and Datalink equipment.
Now I want to ask him from here.
What about engine ( Austria Rotax engine and other equipment, actuators and other parts e.g. MC) ?
How much "Milli" is it if he subtracts Gimbal, Datalink, Engine and some other parts ?

It was not wise to demonstrate the weaponized TB-2 !
I don't want to be the devils advocate but worse things could happen.

as a developer making unique and clean website is harder than to make an uav. Just saying.

As a fellow developer i second that. Though my programming skills aint that good as they used to be. Programming and developing/coding sites is extremely easy for the average programmer(assuming you know the basic languages such as PHP, Javascripts, MySql, HTML, CSS and etc). Programming software is fundementally different.

what i'm saying is "design" creating something from stracth. is totatly different. Yeah you may know programming, and use it on diferent projects etc. but desiigning something strach totally different. especially if we are talking about pixel perfect designs. just like super designed global hawk that can fly at 60k feet.

TAI was heavily criticed by politicians at a Panel :

Exact. Some companies take SDK kits and adapt already existent software and then announce it as ows software.
That's not real programming.

As I said cause of restrictions some companies had to buy cameras and equipment via Ministry of Forest and others !

I want them to make synergy with Aselsan and despite competition with TAI or VESTEL also,
as Israel does for its nations PROFIT. ( Aselsan has also already little GimbaLs)

You will be also shocked if you read the export restrictions and what tricks the little companies had to do.
