What's new

Turkish Unmanned Vehicle Programs

No need for tb3 we have many anka variants with PD170 as such anka-B ,S for recon,anka-B,S armed,anka-B sar radar for maritime recon,anka-i for elint so baykar would focus stealth drones otherwise it is waste of time and money and also negative effect on the anka project thats already we are observing.

As anti Drone technology already in the horizon the advantages UAV enjoying may over soon , Turkey need to take stealth UAV UACV program soon to counter the emerging threat .

But TB2 more stealth than all other UAV's thats why they are investing on this model. As i know a lot of countries ordered from this model because of its success at Iraq, Syria, Libya and Armenia.

Tb2 design is stealth, second thing it is very small but it can penetrate all land threats with 4 guided ammunution, it is quite dangerous for all countries.

There is not another UAV which destroyed S300, Pantsir, Sa125 etc. in the world.

Bayraktar series allways will be effective and would be prefered from many countries inclouded Turkey.

tb2 is not stealth design, landing gear is not retractable, ammunution is not in body etc,but it is not recognised by russian radar systems because of low speed, radar wave absorbing material and smallness etc,and sometimes with the help of koral electronic war systems,ı hope it is also succesful against western systems, but if you make a big tb3 you should work with full stealth design otherwise we have anka already, but ı suspect they will choose easy and cheap way of nonstealthy design due to well known reasons

You said well, if TB3 would be effectife against AD something like TB2 they will go same way. But if TB3 would be bigger than TB2, Baykar Makina has to work on it for make it more stealth.

I think making landing gear retractable is not matter but take ammunitions inside of body another story. When planes and ammunutions getting bigger they has to hide materials on the plane.

you can not use tei pd170 motor on small uav
İt looks like that, thats why i mention about size, they has to work much for TB3. İf they started early to work on it maybe it would be ready soon.

We need to make SENSORS! Buying Infrared sensors from China short term is possible.

If Satcom and new flir integrated engine must be changed as well,

If PD170 integrated it is mean capability of TB2 is increased something like altitude and weapon load.
