Got to say this for the Turkish University Students; they are intelligent and they have a great sense of humor!

Oh i know them, i know them very well, thats why im disgusted by people like them, i dont wanna talk about it in a open forum but i have quite a good knowledge about them from first hand. You are trying to reason with a jamati. You will have an easier time convincing a horse than a jamati. We in Pakistan know how these Jamatis work, trust me.

Would you like Europe to have more Christian values/be more Christian. I remember you saying they should ban abortions in Europe. (could have been someone else).
Why do I get the feeling you Indians wouldn’t have the same view if this happened in India and a Hindu temple was built in an Indian university and then a similar protest, but its great you have this positive outlook when it comes to a mosque in Turkey. You carry on voting for BJP (Hindu nationalist party) at the same time championing for secularism elsewhere.
why would turkey want to be in the god forsaken eu?? it has become a flop while turkey is booming lol
Damn, accepting Turkey in the EU would have helped these guys so much in their struggle.Ofcourse the EU actually backed Erdogan in the early 2000's and now will let actual democratic Turks to fend for themselves against "the sultan".
Those 150'000 is a online petition you can vote from Bhutan if you want, show me a University with 175'000 students pls.So where went democracy for the opponents of the mosque?
The article says 150 000 students signed a petition for building the mosque, and 25 000 (in response!!!) for building a temple. who wins the "elections" then?
in pakistan islam will always be favored... and it will be the business of the state because pakistan is not a secular country.Legitimate demand, everyone should be allowed to worship however they feel necessary. The state has no business in favoring one religion over another.

Seriously whats wrong with PDF.
There are mescits for that....I'm not against giving students a room for prayer but we should seriously stop building mousques frenzy
There are mescits for that....
And you know, we generally go to mosque in friday prayers.... Go to a mosque in during at öğle namazı. It would be full of old people...
You know in many state schools because management can't hire a janitor by school budget, they want donations from parents.... but we can spend our budget to building unnecessary mosques in universities. Also have plans to give a every student a tablet pc. (fatih project).
