Why not? Pakistan and Turkey have very good relations, in the past and present. What are the obstacles for us?

On the outside, the rest of the world. On the inside, Iran. After the big oil bust Saudi economy will degenerate and perish but Iran, with its much more diversified economy, will endure and become Turkey's primary foe in the south. Not necessarily a military foe, but a foe nevertheless. Someone smart once said: History doesn't repeat itself but it does rhyme. Rings a bell?

Turkey must work extremely hard to get our Pakistani brothers to see Iran the same way.

Agreed, a bit of rivalry doesn't hurt anybody. But, wouldn't call their economy diversified ...but obviously much more than Saudi that is for sure. A long way to go to reach our level.

They won't. They consider each other brothers. They're preoccupied with Afghans and Indians too.

I agree with you @Ottoman123

Well, for what its worth. I do like how Turkey, Pakistan and Iran share the common identity of being "non-Arab Muslim nations". I guess that means something to all three. But Turkey and Pakistan also happen to be Sunni. That can be brought to the foreground to aide our cause.

We need to have a lot more closer relations with Indonesia, Central Asia and co. Why we don't I have no clue
Obviously Pakistan will always be our brothers.

A lot of your compatriots see Iran as a brotherly nation. Judging by the comments i see on this forum. Is that wrong ?
Good thing is, we can always depend on each other.

Pakistanis are polite to everyone. That does not mean brotherhood or friendship. :D

Indeed Turkey one of our only friends.

Pakistan is surrounded by enemies. Iran, Afghanistan and India.

i would say Iran is neither brother nor enemy, we have working relations with them at most which needs more improvement from both sides to be brotherly again as we were in Great Shah's era, Shah was the best friend of Pakistan..
