Mate ffs please stop reading articles on Gatestone Institute with regards to Turkey. It's all slander mixed with some half baked facts.A very complete response. Excellent.
As the regular Turkish press is tongue-tied by the state-of-emergency, one has to take what one can get. What's important for Turks to realize is that so many people get G.I. stuff without the benefit of intelligent replies like Sinan has supplied.Mate ffs please stop reading articles on Gatestone Institute with regards to Turkey. Read Hurriyet Daily and follow these people: Murat Yetkin, Abdulkadir Selvi, Semih Idiz and Yusuf Kanli. They aren't tongue tied at allAs the regular Turkish press is tongue-tied by the state-of-emergency, one has to take what one can get. I wonder. I think Yetkin and Kanli ask questions in their columns because they won't take the risk of making declarative statements and Selvi hasn't written much since the coup attempt.Read Hurriyet Daily and follow these people: Murat Yetkin, Abdulkadir Selvi, Semih Idiz and Yusuf Kanli. Doesn't seem to matter. Their columns are still quite critical and questioning of the governmentThats unfortunatley not true anymore. Did you miss the leaks by RedHat that showed that the editor of Hürriyet was in contact with Erdogans in law son? He stepped down but I doubt that things will change.
Yeah but not as before.Doesn't seem to matter. Their columns are still quite critical and questioning of the government
Turkish media is so Free.
Media doesn't have right to insult, or support Terror organisations. I fully support AKP's policy against Fethollah Terror Organisation..
But AKP should also fight against PKK media, like they do against Fethollah media. Police shut down IMC TV (one of the official PKK TVs) and it is a good start.
But diken.com.tr?? birgun.net?? haber.sol.org.tr??? cumhuriyet newspaper?? evrensel.net?? DIHA ?? Fırat Haber Ajansı ??
AKP nearly only fights against Fethollah and it pisses me off. They should show same effort for PKK media as well. Police should arrest anyone who visited IMC TV or joined IMC TV'S live programs.
(Haven't read the article) No bro, iran is never to be trusted under those ayatollahs. Their words are one thing, but their actions/agenda is against us. They are against the pipeline between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, they support Armenia over us and Azerbaijan, they have been running sectarianist policies for decades, turning Syria and Iraq into satellite states (against our interests), they support(ed) rival of KRG's barzani in the 90's and now (against our interest), they likely support the pkk or at least redirect the pkk to focus on us and pressure the KRG etc. They seem to be only pro-Turkey in front of cameras. We can only be friends with Iran if we stand by and let Iran take the cake all the time. Not gonna happen anymore.http://www.wsj.com/articles/turkey-and-iran-draw-closer-despite-syrian-war-1475750313
Good to see at least two countries in the region with common sense.
