Thats really something minor. This aint about PKK but about Dündar and the photos of the weapons being delivered to Syria. Really looking forward to see what kind of proof they will show. My best guess is it will be a show-process like Balyoz with fabricated proofs.

I dont even read Cumhuriyet. I read Hürriyet mostly. You have tosee the bigger picture that channel after channel, newspaper after newspaper is targeted.

@what

Bro, i'm somehow neutral about Cumhuriyet....You know they say "We are Çağdaş, Cumhuriyetçi, Laik, etc...."

But all these times one thing always struck my eye.

You know we spell PKK as Pekaka;

And you also know that PKK members and their sympatizans spell as Pekeke.

When you look at the articles of Cumhuriyet.

"PKK'yi" it should have been PKK'yı.
http://www.cumhuriyet.com.tr/haber/siyaset/531239/PKK__AKP_nin_bir_gucu_yok.html

PKK’den it should have been PKK'dan.
http://www.cumhuriyet.com.tr/haber/turkiye/559458/PKK_den_saldiriya_iliskin_aciklama.html

"PKK'li" it should have been PKK'lı.
http://www.cumhuriyet.com.tr/haber/turkiye/487398/PKK_li_Duran_Kalkan_dan__Mart__uyarisi.html

Among mainstream media, you can only see this pronunciation in Cumhuriyet.
Very legitimate analysis.

Good riddance, this Cumhuriyet newspaper and this Can Dundar have become absolutely rubbish.
If only it was criticism, but nope, when it comes to their own country they need to belittle and insult as if they are the unofficial mouthpiece of the EU. What irks me the most is how they hide behind the 'cumhuriyet' name and Ataturk. Ataturk would have ruthlessly hanged them all (the Can Dundar types). Hope pkk/dhkp-c/extreme leftist 'newspapers' will be scrutinized and closed too if necessary.

Thats really something minor.
Mate, speaking with PKK mouth is not something minor for me. Why no other mainstream made do not use such language but they ?

This aint about PKK but about Dündar and the photos of the weapons being delivered to Syria.
That's another scandal, acquiring a state secret video, and publishing state secrets. That's where Dündar crossed the red line. Now, we know that those who stopped MIT truck, was Gülenists.... are we not gonna ask the questions of how Dündar acquired the video, what's his relation with Gülenists ?

I really liked Can Dündar at the past. He really did some high quality documentaries....however his obsession with AKP had been the end of him.

Really looking forward to see what kind of proof they will show. My best guess is it will be a show-process like Balyoz with fabricated proofs.
I agree that trial process should be very transparent.

I dont even read Cumhuriyet. I read Hürriyet mostly. You have tosee the bigger picture that channel after channel, newspaper after newspaper is targeted.

Well, I read;

Cumhuriyet
Sözcü
Hürriyet
Milliyet
Internethaber
Ensonhaber

All anti-Gov and pro-Gov media, to see the issues from all sides.

In my eyes, all those Channels and newspapers that has been shut down are pro-PKK and pro-Gülen.

There are still critic mainstream media like Sözcü, Hürriyet, Fox Tv, CNNturk.

I find myself to be a person who looks at everything with a pinch of salt, we know every side fights for a cause, hidden or obvious.

That said, all the allegations from the left towards the AKP so far has been debunked. Let's look at some.

1: "AKP is selling the country to foreigners, they have a hidden imperialistic agenda" --> debunked. If anything in their time anti-West and anti-USA rhetoric has risen much more than ever. We are no longer afraid of our own power and potential, the rest of the world knows this too, that's why our rhetoric can change so deeply without effecting our economic relationship. Right now they are talking about misak-i Milli, go figure.

2: "AKP is limiting freedoms. Like freedom of alcohol, free speech, wears etc." --> debunked. During their period, the AKP made it legal for scarved women to enter universities. At the same time the others were untouced. Alcohol is still served and legal, no change there.

3: "AKP has taken total control over the media" --> No! The state has taken control over their media, so that anti-state elements can't serve their foreign interests as they like. As others pointed out, any strong state in the world operates this way. Remember the times pre-2000, complete chaos and anti-government propaganda from left and right. No control, chaos and inconsistency ruled.

Get me right. I'm NOT a spokesperson for the AKP, they MUST be critisized for the things they are held accountable to. I'm a spokesperson for the INTEREST of my NATION.

And i must admit, i'm a tad fascist

I hope this boksineği cumhuriyet writer is also arrested

She would have so much fun in prison, specially we should but her into jail where PKKians are being putted so she will see their real behavior so fast :)

e

I hope Ali Açar will also be arrested, after he tried to show terrorists as "two women killed"

I think they should all be arrested, erdoğan, Bülent Arınç, Hüseyin Çelik, Beşir Atalay, Yalçın Akdoğan etc and should be hanged as well as all the other traitors in CHP and all the hdp. We should just do a toplu temizlik and continue with a milliyetci lider like Atatürk. Who can that be atm? Not sure. AKP has a hidden agenda like the others but they are going from a sneakier route. They want to change the Republic, try to start something new, destroy Atatürks legacy slowly and create a 'dindar' gençlik. He has an allergy against the Atatürk so he removes andımız from schools, he starts questioning Lozan, he sneakily throws something at the public so they start questioning him.

Slowdown in access to social media in Turkey a ‘security measure,’ says PM
ISTANBUL
n_105744_1.jpg

The slowdown in internet connection experienced throughout Turkey is part of “security measures” taken by the government, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım said on Nov. 4, as the access of millions of people to major social media sites was stalled from the early hours of morning.

“These kinds of measures may be taken from time to time for security reasons. These are temporary measures and when the danger is alleviated, everything returns to normal,” said Yıldırım.

His statement came amid the detention of Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) lawmakers and leaders, who face charges over links to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party(PKK).

A nationwide internet blackout has blocked access to internet-based applications WhatsApp, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook, with many complaining that access is impossible without using a VPN.

Internet users in the eastern and southeastern provinces faced major outages in late October after the detention of the co-mayors of the southeastern province of Diyarbakır, Gültan Kışanak and Fırat Anlı, who are currently under arrest.

Social Media is the main tool in recruitment for terrorist groups. Twitter, Facebook and ect... has done little to prevent this. So I support this move.

When foreigners care more about the speed of Internet in the southeast of Turkey than the innocents killed today in the same region by a car bomb. This is why I'm a tad facist

I don't think it's possible to be a "Tad" Facist. That's like saying I am a "tad" Straight.
