Whenever there is a coup in Asia, Middle East, Eastern Europe, Africa or South America, the West usually condemns their "ally" for defending their power, if that coup fails. They would do everything to isolate their "ally".

If they succeed the coup against their "ally", they would support the military and even would support them tossing their "ally" on prison.

Does this ring any bell? Be careful Turkey, you should find a new ally asap. :D

. .
Bottom line, without Turkey and its strategic location, NATO military doctrine directed against Russia, China or even against middle east will cease to exist; period. Incirlik air base that is crucial for all US/NATO middle east
war, any footing to black sea, tactical nuke, missiles stationed since before Cuban missile crisis; ALL will disappear for NATO and US. Not to mentioned, all important listening post in the age of info warfare. So, Erdogan and Turkey for that matter should know the bluff.

This is crazy hyperbole, NATO military doctrine won't cease to exist, plans will be redrawn, simple as that.

And yes Turkey is in a strategically important position, but the best way I've seen it described is that Turkey is like the left nut of NATO. Its important and NATO wants to keep it, but if it has a tumour and threatens the rest of the body, it will be cut off anyways. Turkey is important, but not indespensible to NATO.

What NATO doctrine exists for China?

Turkey also isn't the only entry point to the Middle-East, just the easiest.

All these bully by US, EU and lately NATO are just for saving their tools which conducted the coup on their behalf AND to save US/EU SLEEPER CELL assets, accumulated over last 70+ years, hiding behind Turkish institutions.
Lol the benefit of outsing Erdogan in a coup is not worth the risk to a NATO country. Its basic risk reward analysis, are you familiar with it? Erdogan was pro NATO before the coup. As for so called sleeper cells, a baseless anti-western accusation with about as much justification as accusing the Turks in Germany of being sleeper agents.

As US involvement was clear it could not create direct pressure, so Kerry instead flew to Brussels to instruct EU/NATO puppets on how to bully Turkey in saving their SLEEPER CELL assets.

More crazy baseless accusations
Riding NATO bandwagon over last 20 years,
erm actually 55 years :what:

Turkey was forced to facilitate (by providing base and logistics) NATO killing field in Iraq and Syria, strained its relation with neighbors, introduced insecurity for Turkey and Turkey lost unimaginable trade and business opportunities.
Oh the irony, as if Erdogan himself didn't order Turkish incursions into Iraq and arming of the Turkmen in Syria. That's rich. The Turks haven't been forced into anything they never agreed to.

Not to mention Turkey faced constant EU bully and hatred but no EU membership.

Not a NATO problem.

In contrast, for its part Turkey, has wide open, attractive and strategic options opened to it. These options include security with strategic depth of SCO - (Russia,China, Pakistan, Iran and CA),

First off an economic organization doesn't replace a military one, are you confused about what the SCO is and what NATO are?

In any case picking up on the possible intention of a military agreement with Russia China etc.

Russia would love to make Instanbul Constantinople again, and doesn't like the thought of Erdogan's Islamist sentiment when it comes to its sphere of influence in Central Asia, and China will never trust Turkey as long as they keep their position on Xinjiang, and otherwise cannot really help Turkey out in a conflict in the medium term.

Russia doesn't need or want Erdogan as an ally given his proclivities that go against their interests, they'll be just fine with Turkey's isolation.

When it comes to Turkey's borders Russia and Iran are the ones that matter (aside from Greece and NATO), and Iran won't alienate Russia and Syria and Armenia for Turkey and an Erdogan strongman not under their influence, or help Turkey if they come under an attack from anyone except possibly Saudi Arabia or Israel.

economic depth with energy hub to EU and market/infrastructure building opportunities in Eurasian mass, Silk road, middle east and Africa. EU are in decline and will continue to slide into lesser and lesser important entity.

Speculation, right now at this time, the EU is a very important market, and will be for the foreseeable future. Also unrelated to NATO.

So, keeping eye on future potential, why should Erdogan, Turkey and its future generation would give any hoot to EU and death/destruction doctrine of NATO?

Are you confused about what NATO is? It isn't an economic grouping, its a military grouping...:what:

How does joining an economic organization with some counter terrorism purpose replace an explicit military organization with security guarantees?

Choices are clear, its time for Turkey and its brave people filter rubbish noise coming from US/NATO/EU and take the right steps.

Its an easy decision when you aren't Turkish and don't have to live with the consequences isn't it? Erdogan will do what he does, but you are obviously not thinking about Turkey's interests, just thinking of it as a pawn in your anti-West crusade.

You mean the judges and police officers....if we were going through normal times, i would object to him. But we are going through extra-ordinary times which needs extra-ordinary actions.

Hopefully the extraordinary times are brief and not a precursor of things to come, these extraordinary actions have a way of becoming the norm, both in France (still in a 'state of emergency') and in the US ('patriot act').

What Erdogan is doing is much farther reaching, working into the very depths of Turkey's judiciary and legal system. It looks like a very delicate and easily corruptible thing to me basically, especially with how Erdogan has treated free-speech.

The only test that matters to me at this point I suppose is whether Erdogan will leave at the end of two 5 year terms or not, whatever else he does, as long as it doesn't lead to the destruction of Turkey, can be forgiven if he shows he is not intending to become the next sultan. All other indications are not good.

. .
Good. Now hopefully Turkey will leave the tyrant NATO. انشاءاللہ
Maybe even make an alliance with Russia?

You look like a Sheikh Imran Hossein fanboy.
How does he justify Russian atrocities in Syria ?
Why would you want to ally with Russia.

Well, Gülenists proved to be very dangerous. They have to be purged from the state body....if it means to stretch the laws...so be it.

.
I now Know Why our intelligence service the ISI is so despised by the west and our enemies & the propaganda done against our armed forces! But this is disastrously dangerous that they were able to cause a split in the military like they did. If they hate you then you are doing something right that much is clear now.
There always exists the PLAN above all plans...

What Russian atrocities? I know of the ones done by the NATO supported rebels.

Listen to his videos and you will understand the rationale for making an alliance with Russia.

Officials acknowledged that not all of the currently arrested suspects will be put in jail. It is a preventative measure so as to stop a second round of insanity. Maybe the fucking Western media can stop being hysteric with Erdogan-phobia and follow the matter in a more objective way. We can take care of ourselves, thank you for your misplaced, and probably dishonest, concern..fucking ''allies'':disagree:

Despite repeated requests by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan remains reluctant to shut down the Gülen Movement-affiliated PakTurk Schools, which campaign and brainwash thousands of students against the current, democratic, Turkish regime.

Gülenists have an influential network in Pakistan in the form of PakTurk Schools, colleges, likeminded groups and big business companies. Like the recently failed coup by Gülenists in Turkey, Gülenists are planted everywhere in Pakistan to get ready for any kind of revolt.

Erdoğan has vowed to root out the coup virus by arresting plotters and planners of the foiled takeover. However, in Pakistan, there are supporters of the coup in the form of thousands of PakTurk students, teachers and management who were shocked to see this plot fail.

Pakistan strongly supported the Turkish government during the coup attempt and social media initiated an interesting trend in support of the democratic government in Turkey and against the coup. Gülen circles in Pakistan are most likely depressed.

The 21 PakTurk Schools in Pakistan are the hub of conspiracy hatching and producing students that are brainwashed and ready to rise up with the Gülen Movement.

Erdoğan repeatedly asked Sharif to close down the PakTurk Schools and Colleges, but Pakistan did not take any action against the schools. There are hundreds of applications against PakTurk Schools filed by parents in the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) and the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) in Islamabad but no action has been taken so far possibly due to the strong influence of the Gülenists in Pakistan.

After the recent failed coup attempt in Turkey, relations between Pakistan and Turkey could get tense because of Pakistani authorities' reluctance to close the schools and colleges. According to high-level sources in Islamabad, PakTurk Schools have decided to change their name to avoid any legal action or possible closure.

However, PakTurk Schools are also establishing a university in Lahore, the capital city of Punjab province, to extend the network. It is pertinent to mention here that Gülenists already run an entertainment TV channel.

Gülenists are working along a similar line of action to get maximum followers and influence in Pakistani society. They are planning to launch the Gülen revolution by exploiting poor and needy students through Gülen's preaching and emotional speeches.

PakTurk Schools pose a serious threat to the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkey and the recent failed coup could make them tense. After a series of reminders and requests, Pakistan might take action against these schools before the start of any tense relations between Ankara and Islamabad.

One man's personal grudge and paranoia is going to result in closure of schools in Pakistan ?

I think RTE must be more interested in preventing people from getting an education, so they can think for themselves, very dangerous indeed.

Anyone closing schools is the true enemy.

The terrorists were de-electrocuted!!

At the early hours of the coup seeing the gravity of the situation electricity transmission/distribution minitoring/control headquarters took a smart move. They stopped electricity to the major air bases and garrisons. So the terrorists had to use generators for operating the flights which definitely slowed their capability to move fast. As if nothing could go right for the most expensive and well funded proxies and traitors of our time. There's the PLAN above all plans. Only if these brainless traitors knew..

Let me give a more interesting detail: The only reason why the rouge F16s couldnt shoot down the presidents plane is because they had no AA missiles. Let that sink in

excellent news

Those are the same types of schools that raise Gulenists...they should be burned to the ground after what their alumni did to our country over the past weekend
