Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is expected to arrive in Pakistan on Feb 17 for a two day long official visit, sources said on Saturday.

Official sources told Dawn that during his first ever visit to Pakistan since taking office in August last year, the Turkish premier will be meeting with Pakistan's political and military leadership.

"Mr Davutoglu will lead Turkey in the Pakistan-Turkey strategic dialogue, which will also take place on Feb 17 in Islamabad," the source said.

The Turkish premier is also expected to meet President Mamnoon Hussain who will later host a banquet in his honour.

Last month, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Cemil Cecik agreed to enhance interaction between parliamentarians of the two countries and share their legislative experiences.

The agreement was reached during a meeting that took place on the sidelines of the 10th session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation member states (PUIC) in Istanbul.

Good and positive news all over the media these days about pakistan ............He is more than welcome here :pakistan::pakistan:

Good news.
Hopefully there will be increased cooperation in defense sector as well as the economic projects

So who is the actual ruler of Turkey? The PM or President or whichever position Erdogan holds?

Needless to say Kashmir will be on agenda on every international engagement Pakistan is in.

Kashmir hurts you as much as Hafiz Saeed. But you wont engage with Pakistan. You wont talk directly to us but will find excuses to run away from negotiations..
Bhai app ki fooj magna ayaan haan , Syria ka lia.....lolzz...

We have two Iron brothers China and Turkey. Welcome brother

Turkey could be a brother or a master depending on the tribe/caste you belong to but how is Chinese your brother? They can be an ally for sure.

lol relax. I'm sure some Pakistanis will be willing to call you a brother as well if you're a Kshatriya

I'm really really hoping that he'll be bringing Nawaz Sharif some bad news. Something like well all the other Muslim countries in the region have been discussing things....we've decided that at the next election you'll be receiving zilch support from us...in fact we're going to do everything to ensure that these are the second freest and fairest elections since 1970...and we're going to do everything possible to ensure you loose.

....oh and the Saudis say the next time you want to run away; don't call us, we'll call you

By the way has anyone read Davutuglu's book?
