lol if Assad falls next station of seperatist Kurds will be Syria and Northern Iraq like Armenians. Arab-Turk collaboration will be an headache for terrorist supporter countries such as Israel and Iran so they fully support murderer Assad regime. Syria was important connection way between Turkey and Gulf Countries but after political conflicts with Maliki's Shia Iraq this road happened more critical for us. Thanks to Iran-Israel conflict, Shia easily spreads among Muslims and a Shia block is consisting from Lebanon to Iran, while Muslims are killing each other Israel is capturing it's targets one by one.

If I were a classical Turkish citizen with no information on global economies you could get me with that agument but unfortunately for you and fortunately for me I am not...

In 90's Turkey was ahead of Australia, Netherlands and Indonesia and now they passed us with hundreads of billions of dollars in economy... and We didn't even passed one country that was ahead of us in 90s...

And to add that the ones ahead of us widened the gap with us... In 1998 Korea was ahead of us with 135 billion dollars and now they are ahead of us with 350 billion dollars...

Gap between economies...

98---------------------2011

Canada 300 billion dollars +1 trillion dollars

Spain 300 billion dollars +700 billion dollars

Russia 560 billion dollars +1.1 trillion dollars

Brazil 700 billion dollars +1.7 trillion dollars

Are you intentionally lying and ignoring my previous post or are you just too ignorant to research before writing utter nonsense?

1992 GDP Index
Turkey: $159 bio
Australia: $328 bio
Netherlands: $336 bio
Indonesia: $130 bio
GDP (current US$) | Data | Table

As anyone with above 40 IQ can see Turkey's economy was half of Australia and Netherlands, which means Australia and Netherlands had more than double of our economy. Indonesia with population 4 times that of Turkey had a little less BNP but they are above us slightly today.

It seems you have lower knowledge than "classical turkish citizen" on economics.

Let us look at the numbers today if we are closer or more distant to those countries 2011.
Turkey: 778,089
Netherlands: 840,433
Australia: 1,131,623,
Indonesia: 845,680

Now genius, as you can see we caught Netherlands. We are much closer to Australia and Indonesia is slightly ahead of us which is very normal considering their huge population.

Now to be more specific, i don't know if you are able to follow this part since you obviously have difficulties with numbers, this gets even more interesting.

Let us look at 2003 just when the AKP took over the economy and look at the differences between Turkey and the mentioned countries.

2003 economy for countries:
Australia: 468,410
Netherlands: 538,312
Turkey: 303,005
Indonesia: 234,772

Now as anyone can see in pure mathematic terms Turkey was further away from Australia and Netherlands than we are now. Let us look at the difference in percentage (don't know if this is too much for you).

In 2003 the difference between the country and Turkey in percentage (higher percentage more distance between Turkey and the country in question)
Difference between Australia and turkey's GDP: (468-303)/468x100= 35% (This means In 2003 Australia's economy was 35% larger than Turkeys, capiche?)
Difference between Netherlands and Turkey: (538-303)/538x100= 43%

2011
Netherlands and Turkey (840-778)/840x100= 7,4%
Australia and Turkey (1131-778)/1131x100= 31%

To sum up
In 1992 both Netherlands and Australia more than doubled Turkey's economy. This shows that your whole post is junk. (don't know why i still take you seriously)
When AKP took over in 2003 Netherlands economy was 43% larger than Turkey's, today their economy is only 7,4% larger.
In 2003 Australia's GDP was 35% larger than ours, today the difference is lower = 31%.

What did you study again? Seems like you are getting pwned in your own area of "expertize" by someone who studies something entirely different.

.
I can't take Deno seriously because you have so many faults in your posts, it is full of incorrect information. As i have proven above the difference between the countries you mentioned and Turkey has lessened extremely -> debunks your idea completely.

If you want to talk about PPP than you are on a lying spree once again. People with zero ability to write posts which is full of incorrect information. I really don't know if it is intentional or unintenional, if it is unintentional than you have grave problems with the way you think, if it is intentional you are a very low person.

Now let us find your lies once again.

You wrote
98---------------------2011

Canada 300 billion dollars +1 trillion dollars

Spain 300 billion dollars +700 billion dollars

Russia 560 billion dollars +1.1 trillion dollars

Brazil 700 billion dollars +1.7 trillion dollars

I guess you are trying to show PPP. Nevermind let us look at the reality from same site.

1998 2010
Turkey 592 912

Canada 734 1,202
Spain 880 1,241
Russia 1,136 2,010
Brazil 1,318 1,960

Difference: 1998 2010

Canada 142 288
Spain 288 329
Russia 544 1000
Brazil 726 1044

Now the first thing any sensible researcher or someone who has the slightest idea about mathematics will firstly keep in mind very important factors. 1: If the country has greater population than Turkey. 2: The difference in percentage rather in pure numbers. 3: If it is a developing country or developed country. 4: The growth in per capita since that does much more justice than overall GDP.

Spain: As anyone can see Turkey has grown much more than Spain and is very fast closing the gap. The difference in PPP in 1998 was 32% larger than Turkey's economy. in 2010 the number fell down to 25% = closing the gap.

Canada: The exact same can be observed wheen comparing Canada and Turkey.
Russia: which is a developing country just like Turkey has doubled its economy. Russia has double the population of Turkey.
Brazil: Brazil has three times more population than Turkey and as anyoen can observe Turkey is closing the gap percentage wise.
I won't write as an answer to Deno anymore because all your posts contain false information, and extremely amateurlike.

Edit: i feel very sad that my country will be in the hands of extremely incompetent people like Deno: Education education education...

I gave you the 98 data and you are giving me 92 data? Really? And you used 2003 data which was right after economical crisis that lowered national GDP nearly %50 percent and it was the Derviş's economical plan that recovered loss in little more than one year and passed the pre-crisis economy in two years...

And it was Derviş's plan that sustained the contunious growth in Turkish economy until 2008... You would know this if you ever tried to read an article about economy... Thats why now we face diffuculty in economical growth and it reached a new low with this years %2-4 prediction... Derviş's plan was for short term and not for long term and they don't have any other economist like him to create another plan that could make a jump in economical growth which was common nearly ever nation on earth in timeline of 2002-2008 until global crisis...

And to another trick of yours you used 2011 Turkish economy data but then you used 2010 Australia data... Australia has the gdp of 1.131 trillion dollars in 2010 but they have 1.488 trillion of dollars in 2011...

And if you looked at the link I gave you you would see that it was about PPP and not GDP and I never claimed otherwise and I actually added my prevous post in first page because of it before you joined the argument... The link I gave you clearly shows that Turkey was ahead of Australia Indonesia and Netherlands in 98 and we are now behind of them ( My bad in my previous post I added Netherlands but it shouldn't be there ) and the gap between Australia didn't closed it grew even though we have 4 times the population of them... They still managed to grew faster than we could...

Even though I gave PPP data and I was talking about PPP data you tried to counter my argument with GDP data but even in your terms Australia went ahead of us...

98------2010-----2011

401-----1131-----1.488

269-----734------778

%32-----%35-----%47...
