It is not an advanced aircraft it is trimmed downed aircraft. The alternate options are more advance if Turkey is not given F-35.
American will give it to Turkey. The real issue is TFX for Americans.

So your saying the Turks are dumb and are buying duds? I don't think it is "trimmed down" because these airfcraft will form the southern flank of NATO against Russians. The Turks have pretty advanced aviation industry. Pakistani F-16s were upgraded by Turks. So I think they can size up if they are being cheated unlike the dumb Saudi's.

The actual aircraft is F-22 this is just like a bomb delivery platform. Just tell me what will happen if Turkey starts working with Russia? Turkey has best electronics and if those are fused with Pak-FA what will happen. F-35 will be obsolete already.

It won't. Turkey welded into the western order. It might huff and puff to gouge out better deal out of Uncle Sam but Turkey is not going to go anywhere. It is solid NATO member and ally of USA.

That is why Turkey has leverage to get F-35 USA cannot risk losing Turkey.

Why would anyone here ever doubt Turkey wouldn't receive F-35's? It would be unwise for Americans not to give them at this point and they have far more leverage if they hand over the planes and blackmail afterward so unless they're stupid they won't risk losing all that money.

My thoughts? They will give the plane & take the money and that's when the problems will start.

It's to fill the gap for decades not a few years, aircraft aren't designed and built, tested re-adjusted then produced in mass within a few years

Only issue after buying is sanction on spare parts. They should try to buy much spare parts with purchasing of this stealth fighter.
