ı dont think that at this junction we go for menbij directly we have to attack isis for pr purpuses i think kurds leave menbij in lets say 3 days but in the mean time they attack al bab so we need to hurry we cant take al bab with 30 tanks and 250 speacial forces !

.
Why don't the Turks just kick Assad's *** out while they are at it?

it is not about military atack it is about policy, everbodies have plans on syria so we have to deal with Russians about future of Syria, or time will show us who will be win at Syrian solids.

Looks inaccurate. Turkish govt stated it will be 40km deep, which includes Menbic too, hence all the fuss about ypg. Btw, fsa and Turkish army are already past the green line in the east.

There's nothing to worry about. Turkish goal is clear; 40km deep, incl. Menbic. Anyone who opposes, be it isis or ypg, will be dealt with. In fact, the more the ypg fights us, the more reason they give us to fight them in the west and east of the Euphrates too.

look brother ı have at most respect for anyone here and ı know that ı am not an expert but it looks like ygp is going to "retreat" from menbij of course we dont know the extend of it yet . But lets say that they will retreat what would Turkish Officals reason to capture Menbij ? i am trying to understand and us supports us now but when we go for menbij i dont think they will sit and do nothing i hope that you are right

I think, we will wait YPG's retreat, for a week. But in the mean time if YPG decides push Westwards, operation would begin. (Purely my point of view)

I don't think we will wait a week...72 hours at max. Meanwhile we are probably drawing up a second battle plan and communicating it to FSA (there must be a reason as to why Zekai Pasa is in Jarablous meeting with FSA leaders). This is just my analysis

It would be a mistake to stop a moving army, especially if it means to give terrorists time to plant surprises. I think it'd be better to move with deadly force and cut down terrorists in the process.

yes it is correct

"General mobilisation of #YPG forces in Afrin canton. Possibly to counter any attacks by turkish-backed rebels."
look s like they wotnt back down without a fight

Without any support of air or supplies, They cannot stand one day on their own, These are the same people who dropped the weapons and run without looking back when ISIS were moving in Iraq, or wearing like woman to run away from ISIS in Syria into Turkish border , When ISIS attacked Ayn Al-Arab(kobani), the isis almost took control...later the USA airforce and Turkish supplies of weapon and food were not sent.

The Kurdish* winter is looming.

*If such ethnic group really exists.
