Turkish Peace Operations in Syria (Operation Olive Branch) Updates & Discussions

Serious answer please. What is the difference between ISIS and other islamist factions? I know that there are foreign volunteers that fight with sunni Arabs but they are impossible to control whole cities

FSA is just made by majority Muslims. They don't care what others do. So i can say that they are pretty secular.

But they also shout as "Allah-u Akbar" and they go to mosque. Because you know, they are muslims. Not all muslims are Terrorist or force you to go to mosque if you don't believe.

Are you really that clueless? Honestly?

How does ISIS sell its oil? How does it get its weapons? You think they are airlifted in? Either Turkey didn't know what was going on and its intelligence agencies are absolutely clueless or Turkey knew what was going on and just turned a blind eye to it for so many years.

I love the way of thinking you are showing to us, A.M.K :D ... You are talking about the Middle East- a place where weapons, explosives and equipment for billions of dollars is poured into annually for decades now... from every foreign player that has his interests there. You can probably more easily buy an AK there than a pair of Beats by DRE. A place with such a loyal government forces who often decide to leave their equipment and run like sissies or just join the rebel/terror group they are supposed to fight against. A place that is in endless war from years, where Iraq (where the real origins of the ISIS is) was destroyed and turned into a failed state 13 years ago by G.W. Bush and eventually all kind of terror groups, militias and organizations popped up and started to do whatever they want. Yet you say Turkey armed ISIS.... with weaponry we don't use and we don't have in our inventory. :D

About the oil that we are buying from ISIS that I can assure you that not even a dollar has been made for the Turkish Treasury from: have you ever heard about contraband? About smuggling illegally oil, petrol, cigarettes, drugs, people and basically everything you can imagine which is actually not that hard on our southern border which is a really hard terrain to guard... just like the US-Mexican border- or the US government is supporting the Sinaloa cartel, huh? Even Assad is buying oil from ISIS but yet you don't say that Assad supports them, right? During the Yugoslav wars Bulgarian mafia was smuggling hundreds of train compositions of fuel to Serbia annually illegally yet you won't say that Bulgaria was guilty for what happened in Yugoslavia?

We are probably the most attacked country by ISIS and yet you say they are our fellas. :D

Not satisfying answers. So ISIS are islamists that enforce sharia while other islamists dont? Doesnt make sense

I would like to add; out of all non-state factions, fsa has the most legitimacy in Syria. Because of some rotten apples that did extreme bad things in the name of fsa does not mean all fsa is bad and has no legitimacy anymore, and most probably they joined isis type organization later anyway. Anti-fsa clique likes to equate fsa with isis and dump them all together as extremists to justify their side of story. Why Russia attacked fsa for a long time immediately after entering Syria? Because Russia knows fsa has certainly legitimacy to a degree and needs to be wiped out before isis, who everybody hates. Had Assad been an able nation builder, there would be no fsa nor Kurdish uprising.

"FSA","ISIS"....I think we oversimplify things. There are countless organizations in Syria. Almost every village has its own army. So i dont believe when we talk about "FSA" that they have a unified front

Rly? I am a muslim in Turkey, do i enforce rules to non-muslims in Turkey? Nope. So does FSA. It is so easy to understand.

Dude, i appreciate your effort, i used to give those people similar answers but you eventually reach a point where you just become sick of repeating yourself, for them its easy to post silly one-liners and repeat it like a parrot but you giving a propper answer is loss of valuable time because he is gonna stop responding to you for today and continue the same way tomorrow.

At the beginning they were saying Turkey is supporting isis, when Turkey did something against them they said its a show, when Turkey suffered most casualites from isis outside of Syria they are saying ''Chickens come home to roost'', and now even this operation is apparently a PR gag for some people.

In short, no matter what Turkey does its somehow supporting isis, now my mood in PDF is like the dogs bark but the caravan moves.

we need to stop turkey from killing isis main rivals, the kurdish freedom fighters
You are free to do so, lets see what you are gonna do.
