Turkish Otokar has won an export order worth $28.9 million to supply tactical wheeled armored vehicles to an unidentified customer.

“Our company has secured an export deal worth $28.9 million, which includes the sale of tactical wheeled armored vehicles, spare parts and training services regarding these vehicles,” the company was quoted as saying in a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) by Hurriyet Daily News Monday.

The deliveries of the orders are expected to be completed until the first quarter of 2019, it added.

The company has not specified the purchaser in the announcement.

.
The size of order $28 million suggests a friendly nation from middle-east / south Asia. By the way, any guess for the number of units?

Price should be around 2.5-3.5Mil$ per pieces and you have the spare parts+training package in the deal. So mostly around a Dozen max.
$3.5 is too much for a UAV even after including all accessories + training + spares. Is it an MRAP?

Cant be more than a dozen or two!!
hmmm around 20 units I guess...but we need a lot more.

It's an IFV we are talking about.
Newest BMP are around 2+M$... Patria IFV is around 3.5M$... VBCI around 4.5M$... so Arma Otokar in that price range is doable.

Therefore a Dozen +/- pieces + Spare parts and Training for 28M$ should be right.
