What is the big fuss? I said that I use Flemish and Dutch as one people, maybe more precisely Dutch is the one from Netherlands, while Flemish should only refer to the Belgian Dutch exclusively.

Turkey is a very peaceful place to visit. I'm deeply sorry on behalf of those barbarians.

Turkish people (especially proletariat, which constitutes an important portion of population) are extremely right leaning and sentimental (or wild hearted if I put it in terms of Buddist culture). That's why they can be easily manupilated. But please don't ever think Turkey is a bad place or every Turk is like that.

It's just that for the last decade and a half Turkey is having some identity crisis. But I hope we will pass this phase and reform our democracy and society once again.

Indeed my friend, the historical places such as Ankara and Istanbul are also one of the most beautiful places in the Near East , not to mention its legacy in linking not only the Ottoman Empire, but with the Eastern Roman Empire (Byzantine Empire) , and old Hellenistic Age. The shear amount of history, art, and culture in the Anatolian Region is priceless and a treasure not just to Turkey and the Turkish people but to all the world and mankind.

I have friends who are Turkish and they are good people. The Nationalists who harassed the Korean tourists do not represent most Turkish people, who just want to live their lives and don't care about international politics. Condemn the few individual idiots and bigots but not the whole nation.

TURKEY is a massive country of over 80 million citizens. Its literally the largest country in terms of population and size in the Middle East. A great military power in her own right , although she is profound enough to control her military and not engage directly her smaller and far weaker neighbors (a trait of a great Power). So, for all our friends here keep that in mind. The actions of some couple dozen radical protesters do not represent the character of a nation the size of Turkey.

It would be wise for our friends to keep in mind the deep importance between the pragmatic relations between Ankara and Beijing.

The Chinese goverment is a lot more pragmatic/rational compared to most Chinese in PDF, otherwise why would China give Nuclear technology to a racist/terrorist/stupid etc.etc. state/people?
