Tunisia became the first country to acquire the 4 × 4 armored tactical Turkish combat vehicle Ejder Yalçın of last generation

Developed by one of the leading arms manufacturers in Turkey, Nurol Makina, it meets the operational requirements of military units and security forces operating in different regions, particularly rural and urban areas.

It entered service in 2014. The second generation of the vehicle was delivered last year when completed the manufacture of the latest generation, Ejder Yalçın III.

The armored vehicles Ejder Yalcin are increasingly used by Turkish security forces and arouse the interest of foreign armies. In addition to Tunisia, the vehicle is on the shopping list of ten other countries, three of which are testing it.

The armored combat vehicle has already proved its worth in different geographical conditions, including in deserts, high temperatures and on sand, as well as in marshes, rocky and mountainous terrain.

Turkish security forces have so far received 400 of these vehicles, while about 50 of them have been exported abroad.

Thanks to its high payload and its unique vehicle control software, it can be configured in different versions and therefore adapted to different applications.

It offers special solutions to the different operational requirements of users with customizations such as border and vehicle safety surveillance, vehicle air defense, reconnaissance vehicles, command and control of vehicles, mining / detection explosives, combat vehicle, personal carrier ... It offers great protection against ballistic threats, homemade bombs and lateral deflagrations.

The vehicle can carry up to 11 people depending on the purpose of use and has a gross weight of 14 tons. It also has a payload capacity of up to four tonnes, depending on the vehicle configuration.

The vehicle, which can easily be integrated with different weapon systems, can operate between -32 degrees Celsius and 55 degrees Celsius.

With a range of 700 kilometers, it can reach speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour at temperatures between -32 ° and 55 ° Celsius.
