Do you think tanks and M113 are smart in the midlle of the city. Due-to they have big caliber gun like a 25mm -105mm, they are being used thought they are tracked, slow and big.

M551 sheridan, FV scorpion have low velocity gun. Muzzle velocity of 152mm ammunition very low so there isnt high recoill. They use cannon ammo.But they are HEAT. Range not 4km but in 1000m they are verry effective.
This imagine for city fight. We have a lot of Cobra, Shortland and Kirpi for personal transportation. Some of them would be used for attack and bunker buster.

If you want to somethings more lighter, i would offer Cobra with AML-60 turret.
AML-60 have being used in Africa. It has 60mm mortar is breech loading with direct and indirect fire capacity.
AML 60 turret has two auto gun .50 and 7,62mm.
Ideal for street fights against cheap terrorists.

I think, you will find a lot of customers for this turrets in middle east. Iraq has bought Brazilian EE-9 armoured car.
60mm mortar used by Turkish Army and NATO countries. Direct firec capability and breech loading are great spesification. This turret will work wonderfull with new technology thermalcams.


It should be Otokar Arma 8x8.
Because PARS cockpit has more space and different.

What is your opinion PZH 2000 with improved auto-loader can fire 12 round in 60 seconds , but K-9 or Firtina only 5 rounds. Is it worth to discuss about it ? Could it be a remarkable advantage in combat ?

Ofcourse it would be an advantage.Basically, 1 Pzh2000 could deliver more firepower on the battlefield than 2 Firtina's.That's important in the "shoot and scoot tactic",plus maintenance,availability of numbers,camouflage from the enemy,supply lines,manpower,etc.

You cannot compare those Systems with each other, one is for Precision while the other one is for artillery bombardment !

That was the reason for my question, what advantage has PZH 2000 firing 12 round within 60 seconds with improved autoloader vs.
K-9 or Firtina which fire maximum 6 rounds ( 5 is standard) within 60 seconds.

It is a serious question, improved auto-loader or not.
Is it capable to load automatically different propelling charges which are the main factor for range ?
Otherwise a fire rate of 12 shells is a massive aerial bombardment and can engage only one target/area.

30mm+Cobra are being thouht like a dump idea by somebodies.
But here is the Cadillac Gage Commando Scout Car.
Commando Scout more smarter and lighter can Cobra 1 but can carry 30mm auto cannon.??
Do we need Cobra for only transportation of soldiers and policemen?

They are used by Egyptian and Indonesian Armies.
Turkish Land Vehicle Programs are interesting.
They intend to fight against 2-3 terrorist with 8x8 IFV and .50 caliber.

This is Chinese with 30mm autocannon, very similar to Cobra.

I believe SARP Turret is capable of using 40mm grenade launcher, but we dont see it really. Mostly .50cal or 7.62mm
