As far as I know the development is going just right but its not ready. The Ukrainian ADS is most likely going to be implemented in the tank upgrade program recently started. M60 Sabra and some M60A3 are going trough upgrading and there are rumors for the Leopard 2A4 that we have in inventory. Maybe the command saw that in the asymmetric environment like Syria and Iraq with the so easy reach of ATGW systems there is urgent need for ADS in order to secure the effective work of our tank fleet and its personnel.

Yes the system has a lot of defects (Intercept distance not far enough) and he does not seem to be able to intercept anti-tank missile (Type Metis-M).
