If you've been on this very forum you'd find several posts that talk about how 'turkey created ISIS'. I don't want to believe that man. But when the head of MIT makes statements that no other part of the world would endorse, it really gets suspicious

sorry if i came off harsh. it's just that many foreign media are just throwing mud at Turkey while their accusations dont make sense from Turkish point of view (since we know it better as we are locals in the ME), are hypocritical or just outward hostile towards Turkey. About this article, there is nowhere a Turkish source about this. Surely if our MIT chief said something like this, our people would have to hear it first. but then again, awd is a German outlet (if not mistaken) and regularly releases biased half assed or utterly bs news when it comes to Turkey, just like der spiegel, cnn, bbc, washington post etc. if you ask me, they are not that much different from pisstv of Iran, only difference is that western media has the 'free western media' look and bring news subtly to the world, while Iran's pisstv is writing outright hostile stuff about Turkey and allows hateful comments in their comment section.
